That's the psychology of the board.....
But out in the real world, 17 year old kid or not, when you're in the spotlight, perception is one of the most important things to handle correctly.
Kid is being offered, in a sense, TONS of money, spotlight, possible fame......and if he's good enough, possible MILLIONS of dollars down the road.......
It may be a game to them now, but as far as perception goes.....he's not handling it very well.

honestly, i think Brandon placed too much trust in someone who wasnt trusworthy. Its an unfortunate incident. If Hamm would not have posted this text we wouldnt be discussing this. Brandon has the right to go to any school he feels comfortable at.

It should be noted by everyone that the kid has special talent ON the field.
What posters are taking issue with is his handling of himself OFF of the field. When there are constant issues, not just one, that bring attention to the guy on purpose, it scares the hell out of me personally thinking he might be handed the keys to the team one day.
Right now, all the attention on him is positive because of his skill....but what happens when he is getting blasted by every person at a university for having a bad game? Does he crumble or does his character pull him thru?
I trust Les and Cam on this one, they are paid to figure this out.
It's unfortunate media plays such an absolute role in what is available on a kid.
IMO, a kid now is forced to eliminate his state school publicly, or show them constant respect in his interviews to make his life easier until he leaves for college.
Can someone just tell them to start every interview with "of course my state school is a factor" and then go on to which other schools are in play?

First of all its really easy to do a screenshot of a fake text . I don't see many 17 year olds saying you may.
Even if it is real there's no point in grown arse "men" making personal attacks on recruits. Especially one that may end up playing for LSU.

Doubt it. Pay site guys stake their living on their reputation. Hamm isn't a professional by any means, but I doubt he's dumb enough to put his job in jeopardy to troll some LSU fans.
Harris put his trust in a guy who he has no business trusting, a guy who serves the A&M fanbase, not any of these high school kids that he interviews. Harris thought he could use Hamm as a mouthpiece to put out information that he didn't want to directly state himself for whatever reason, and he got burned. Hopefully he'll learn from that. Honestly, hopefully he learns from the many foot in mouth moments he's been having throughout his young recruitment.

Kizer intrigues me more then Harris, also seems to have a better attitude about it all so far but they are 17 year old being woo'd so even then as I'd probably act up stupidly at times too.
As long as LSU gets a quality QB then it's good enough for me.
