I don't wont him here because of potential. Potential to infect the team. If he does end up at LSU then I will hope he is given a short leash and grows up and becomes as good a person as he is a football player.

Yes! Why add a problem to your program when you don't need to? We have three very talented RBs that will provide all the rushing yards we need! Geaux Tigers!

Nothing can rehabilitate a players image in my mind like him playing for the team I support.

I’m going to be upset if we don’t get a quality RB in this class. We need another one on the roster unless we are planning on moving someone there

4 new CB's (3 yesterday and 1 this morning) for Evans to A&M, Embody and Dixon being 2 of the 4 recent CB's......

I remember saying in the summer that TAMU would eventually land this kid. The problem they had offensively this year was relying too much on Mond. They had a terrible run game (don't just look at stats, look at who they came against), so that's all they could do. Problem is that Mond isn't that type of dynamic QB. However they could be a dangerous offense if everybody returns and they get Evan's. I'd go out on a limb and say if Evans doesn't get in trouble at TAMU his first year, he could be the SEC freshman of the year. The kid is that good.

Take him if he wants to come, but don't spend any more effort on this kid. Spend time trying to get kids that want to be Tigers.

No, he can contribute game 1. I do like Gibbs though as an overall back that fits our system really well.

Much much much prefer Gibbs. Only want Evans to keep away from Jimbo, but not sure he's worth the risk to team chemistry and other factors

Unless something changes drastically (which who the hell knows with this recruitment it very well may) Evans will be at A&M.

No. But to be honest, I'd be equally excited with Gibbs or Hubbard. Maybe even more so. They have comparable size to Evans and are highly rated themselves, and without the perceived risk of diva-ness - "play me or I transfer."

I prefer Gibbs or Hubbard, but would be happy with Evans IF he AND the coaches decide he can be part of the team - team first.

Curry Emery and Davis-Price will be a good enough 3 headed monster at RB
That fourth RB will not have to play immediately unless you have injuries at the position
I don't think Evans wants to be a 4th RB
If he did he would have to earn his time just like everyone else
Helaire had to wait until his jr year
Guice before him had to wait his time
I don't see Evans as one willing to wait and he's not playing until he learns pass protection

I still think you go for Van Pran and Clayton-Johnson to round out the class if they still have any interest in LSU

Pass. Another Bryce Brown. Also potential locker room issues.

Clyde was a 3* that we grabbed after a few whiffs and had serious talent ahead of him. Not the same as arguably the best RB in the class.

Only had a few less carries his Freshman than TDP, but significantly more yards and rushed for 1300 yards his sophmore year. He didn't really have to wait..

Maybe he’s one of those kids that realizes his attitude can ruin his career and gets it together. It’s already affected him negatively, so it’s not like he isn’t aware.

This is exactly what I’ve been talking about regarding his “vague predictions”....he saw the 4 CB’s (Evans to TAMU) on 247 pay site this morning and posted this.....definitely a fraud in my opinion.

Yes I would be, u do know LSU moved on from him right ? He is trending to Aggies which his character fits Jimbo perfectly.
