I'm going to watch hum okay again this Friday. He didn't play in the quarterfinal game due to an injury to his non throwing shoulder. I think he's good to go this week.

Monds returned for the first time in a month, tonight in the state championship. First possession, Lake Mary drives down and kicks a field goal. Vero takes the field and on the first play, Monds hits EJ White for a 90 yard bomb for a TD. Unbelievable.

Yep. Grandfather played in the NFL and his father played MLB.

Lake Mary wins on a hail Mary + lateral with no time on the clock - 28-27.
Vero was up by 8 points and instead of punting in a torrential rain, they took a safety with 12 seconds left. After the kickoff, the LM QB threw a hail Mary that was caught at the 4 and lateralled to the runner who scored.
Tough way to lose the state championship.

This was fricking brutal. I hate it for our (VB) kids. Jankowski is a fricking idiot for doing that up 8. Know he thinks he was so smart like the Ravens, but in VB’s case, even if the punt gets blocked, they have to get two to tie. He literally gave Lake Mary their only possible way to win.

Yeah hindsight is 20/20, but usually you would rather have the opponent have the ball down by 8 much more so than down by 6. People usually pull this trick when up like, 6 and take it down to 4.

This is worse than the Shaw blunder vs St Charles Catholic 2 days ago. Just instruct the punter one step punt or kick it out of end zone if snap is bad.
