With Longview’s 5* RB Taylor Tatum committing to OU, the path is even clearer for Durham

Hopefully this opens the door for Caden Durham to firmly commit to the good guys.

- He’s visiting LSU with family the last weekend of July.
- All of August is a dead period
- He plans on committing Aug. 25th

Tatum is interesting though, top RB in the class that also wants to play baseball.

Murray is selling him on being the two headed duo like he and Chris Brown were. LSU side is feeling really good about this one.

If there’s ever been writing on the wall, THIS is it. Sounds like Durham wants all his family there with him when he tells the coaches he wants to wear the purple and gold.

If Durham was going to commit to OU, seems like he would have done it by now. Legacy kid and closer to home. LSU and Frank Wilson have given him a lot to think about throughout his entire recruitment. We’ll see where the chips fall.

If he wants to go to there and is interested in baseball, then he is not seriously interested in baseball.

I agree, this looks good for us and great timing.

Hoping for a rippling effect and Durham starts talking to Simmons and co. to join him in the bayou

Did things change? I thought his sister had some kind of track meet next weekend that his family was attending.

I’m pretty sure LSU has had this guy for a while now. He’ll be the only RB in this class and he’s completely different than anyone we have. He’s also been talking about people being surprised but who knows, these things change all the time like a child’s mind does.

FWIW I feel like Durham is better than tatum, tatum is overrated he's not even the best RB in his district.

OU was in the CWS finals last season… I think y’all probably get Durham. We already have two RB’s committed.

It’s not uncommon for top RBs to be committed to the same school. LSU is expecting Berry and Simon next years class. Why is that ok for LSU but not OU? His mother ran track at OU…

Yeah I think he is just saying adding him would be 3 rbs. I don't know what OU rb room looks like. I mean I agree with you regardless having 2 rbs committed he is a take regardless for OU. Taking 2 is normal for all colleges I think we took 3 yrs ago if I can remember.

Caden could be the Kevin Faulk catch out of the backfield type of back. Ala Darren Sprouls was for the Saints. Speed kills and Caden has that.
