JD is the best returning starter at QB based on production from previous season, in LSU history.
Nuss if he continues to develop will be the favorite to take over the reigns as a junior in ‘24.
Howard as a RS sophmore in ‘24 will compete for the job and if doesn’t beat out Nuss would have to wait til ‘26 as a RS senior to potentially start. Most wouldn’t do that this day and age, but he loves LSU and would have likely gotten a few starts by that time due to injuries.
Collins and Hurley would be waiting in the wings.

Seriously what is the point of yet another thread about this? We can't control it. Recruit the best guys you can. If they leave, recruit the best replacements you can.
