CamRon Jackson DT Haynesville, LA
6-5 270 4 stars
Alec Bryant WDE Pearland, TX (Perhaps could be a LB)
6-3 230 4 stars
Demon Clowney DE Baltimore, MD
6-5 225 4 stars
Eric Taylor DT Trussville, AL
6-4 280 4 stars
Jalen Lee DT Watson, LA
6-5 290 4 stars
Jordan Berry DT Harbor City, CA
6-3 288 3 stars
Ali Gaye DE Edmonds, WA
6-6 270 3 stars
Patrick Jenkins DT Marrero, LA
6-2 285 3 stars

does it mean:

1. expecting some attrition naturally or when/if they commit

2. means nothing. you take them no matter what

3. that LSU is prepared to have them go elsewhere

4. numbers are near full and they dont expect both/either

Has no effect on those 2. They have spots in the class.

Don't worry about the numbers right now.

I think the consensus between this Recruiting board and 247 is that Berry will not be a part of this class.
Others think that Jackson will either move to the OL or will not be a part of this class.

There are 2 spots reserved for Roy and Guillory.

Sorry. No room for them.

Come on, man. What do you think it means for them? It doesn't mean shite. You think they're not still priority recruits?

Who are we targeting on the o-line besides Dumervil, Paris, and Van Pran?

Id imagine some of these 3 star DL wont make it to the end because we’re running out of room in this class.

of course they are, but one could look at the takes and think that LSU is preparing for life without them

Lsu is preparing to build depth at d line. They will still take their top guys if they want to be in this class. Getting 7-9 d linemen in a class when you are going to lose a lot on the line after this season is not a bad thing.

Curious why all the talk is about Berry moving and none about Gaye? Obviously different positions and Guillroy plays the same as Berry, but just curious.

This is true but at least this time it looks like our coaching staff is better prepared.

1. Means nothing. Both are a take.

2. The numbers will work out with attrition or position changes.

3. We are better prepared if either one decides to go elsewhere.

4. This is finally a good problem to have.

Bc Gaye is recent. While berry has been a commit for awhile.

Rouge.

In reference to your edit with the names added...

Bryant and Clowney will both be lb in our scheme.

Possibly both at the Buck.

CamRon is penciled in at OL I believe and it wouldn’t surprise if there was another one the staff thinks would be a better OL.

2 of those are LBs, not DL, and Jackson is OT if he stays in class

Makes the Gaye take even more puzzling.

It's good business. Take good players if they want to commit and if the elite ones want in the class will naturally shake out. It's better than holding a spot for a guy that never commits and getting no one.

Bryant and Clowney may both end up at LB, and LSU could be losing the top 3 DE's after 2019.

There's more than enough room for everyone.

Ali Gaye is 6'6 270. He's athletic and some things you can't teach. They see something in this kid.

It means that our whole recruiting hinges on landing those 2..... But if we don't, at least we'll have other players rather than nobody like in the past.
