CFB, and football in general, relies very heavily on the QB position. Obviously, we've had our troubles there.

But, the fact that we have 50 or more players in the NFL compared to what their 25, says everything you need to know about player development.

We have 40 on the source I read. We clearly attract and develop talent but UGA has started to do it on a comparable level and is winning a lot. We haven't been to a championship since 2011 and they've been in one in 2017.

They won’t both end up in GA.
We got two great ones in this last one. It happens pretty often.

Kirby was cultivated by the epitome of dirty recruiting. Part of his appeal/turnoff to schools was his use of heavy handed bagmen.

Funny you bring that up, I know boosters paid big money for Pickering at Mississippi.

They were both in state kids though. For Georgia to pull kids from Texas and California on these two kids level, you know something fishy is going on.

Not really. They play in the east. Their record against the good teams in the West in the past 2-3 years is abysmal at best.

Is there another program that wastes more talent than they do? Thats what I'd be looking at.

Arguably Texas for the last decade since Vince Young.

Typically schools wait to win the big one before getting so brazen with cash flow

Nakobe Dean out of Ole Miss’ backyard last year. That doesn’t happen unless you are willing to outbid the Mississippi schools.

Sorry to ruin your theory, but Nakobe Dean’s father is a Dr. and very wealthy.

So you think because this dude’s father is “Mississippi rich”, that the family is going to turn down free money?

If UGA and LSU swapped places.......how many SEC East Titles does LSU Win? I honestly can’t think of a year that LSU couldn’t have won the East minus maybe 2008......

Texas hasn't had shite for talent over the last decade. Herman is changing that though.

Correct. In Mack's later years, he took early commitments from "good character" kids whose rankings then skyrocketed due to being committed to Texas early. Charlie Strong wasn't anything special as a recruiter.

If Evans does commit to Georgia soon, there's no way he shuts down his recruitment; he'll still take his OVs.

Honestly, UGA right now makes them look like choir boys.
