As long as he becomes a tiger I could care less about his stars. The whole star rating system annoys me anyway.

To be a 5 star you have to be in the top 35-40 players. He is not. He is a strong 4 star.

Landry will not get 5 stars from Rivals. He has a chance for 5 from Scout.

Don't think he has the measurables to get 5^ status, unless its a late push with impressive performances like Spencer Ware.

Did you just completely ignore the first post in this thread?

Why, no I didn't but thank you for asking anyway.

But to appease DBG and ONLY DBG, because you are special I will rephrase my answer.

"Despite being somewhat diminutive and lacking elite speed (which is also a measurable) Landry will have to put up Herculean numbers and have a strong performance at the post season bowls to get enough attention to attain 5* status."

I feel so much better.

Jarvis is a friggin beast... And his attitude towards the game is perfect.

On one of his highlight tapes, his junior year i believe, they ask him what his biggest play was. He said it was a crack block that boosted his teammate for a touchdown in the state championship (I think it was state, audio was fuzzy).

Then when asked who his favorite player was, the one he most wanted to be like, he said ANDRE JOHNSON... Not a bad role model if you ask me... Only been to eleventy pro bowls since he has been in the league.

Kid is sicknasty.

Walks around school like he owns the place and the teachers are trying to help him, but he dont give a sh-T!
Sad...could go down as another waste of talent....

Even if you are correct, it does not take too high of scores to be admitted into college sports programs.

I dont really care if he's a one star or a five star. Just looking at him and his potential, I think he's going to be a special player. I could care less what recruiting sites think. He's a Tiger and he's an in state signee, that's all that matters.

eta: Alabama's recruiting class will always be overhyped by Rivals. Making Rivals even less legit.
