Hopefully this puts to rest all the "fans" that keep posting up that CBK is sitting on his a$$ and not doing anything regarding recruiting.

One freaking recruit that has been locked in and “solid” from the start??? That is nothing. Bring Law, Wiggins and Mathews in.

Not sure he's going this weekend, but I know Kelly called Walker at school yesterday. His phone rang and he had to walk out of class to answer it.

I know we all want LSU to get every top player in the state, but we are:
1. Behind on him because of this mess of a season.
2. Transitioning to a new staff with different priorities.
3. Pretty loaded at WR.
Just a guess, but it’s possible that Kelly and co are focusing on locking down our roster, our current commits, and the guys we have the best shot with in the limited time that we have before ESD. Let it play out.
We didn’t know shite about the coaching search until it played out. It went a lot better than anyone here was thinking it would at the time. Now we don’t know shite about the staff transition, hiring and recruiting and won’t until right before ESD. That’s just how it is now. Our AD and Coach are airtight and this is how things are going to look going forward.

No such thing with the transfer portal in play now. I don't disagree about prioritizing just pointing out that while some think so grand master plan is going on behind the scenes there are very talented players that have not heard from this current staff so fans curiosity is warranted at least a little

Did you see the way the head coaching search was handled, despite all the fricking melting?
Do you see the way the hires are now rolling in and things are lining up there, despot all the melting about Kelly sitting around doing nothing?
Recruiting news will start rolling hard the rest of this week and over the weekend. If a player isn’t being contacted by the staff at that point, you may not like it, but there will be a reason behind it.
Let. It. Play. Out.

He said the reason he hadn’t talked to Kelly yet was he knew the focus was on existing commits, not that he hadn’t talked to anyone.
