You take the best players from the available pool that fill your needs.
I suspect if the WR from Sealy wants to come we will take him and there a handful from La. we take no matter what but if we miss here or there on a couple recruits then we will back fill with some lower rated guys (rating is based on our coaches rating not some guy working for rivals a year before a kid even plays his Sr. year)
Player development / talent on the field has never been as good as its been the last 7 years at LSU. Check the draft...
Relax, we will field an exceptionally talented team for the forseeable future. Les ain't perfect but worrying about who he signs and why is a waste of energy. Wait until it actually manifests itself into a problem on the field.
I think lester learned from the jj and J. lee deal. Neither guy was worth a damn. I bet he signs a couple extra QB's over the next 5 years just to make certain we have ample talent in the wings.

The kid is good as evident by the number and caliber of schools recruiting him. The HS he plays at is just up the road from me and we will be sure to go and see him play this year.

Options. It's a good thing to have. Can't make an opinion on this kid based on The "dual threat" QB that we had in the past.

Are you really this fricking stupid?

Why the hell would you not wan a dual threat QB?
By the way.. Jordan Jefferson was NOT A DUAL THREAT QB. He was forced into being a running QB.. but he was not a legit dual threat at all.

simple. look at all teams with dual threat qbs and pick 3 thats ever won a NC or made it to the big game. like it or not, dual threat QB's are like side arm pitcher. only good for a few plays and get their arse out of there.

Wtf? I named three in my first reply.
And no, RGIII wasn't in the BCSCG but heisman? NFL draft?

Why would Miles sign another dual-threat quarterback
dual-threat quarterback Anthony Jennings is the 17 commitment to the 2013 Lsu class. Could and would someone please explain why would we ever go to a BlackQB ever again.
That's what you really wanted to say bc nobody can be that dumb to not see what a true dual threat qb can bring to the table.

LSU has 4 quarterbacks on the team. 2 pro style, 2 dual threat. With the addition of Hayden Rettig, a pro style QB, LSU needed Jennings to make it even again. 3 pro style, 3 dual threat.
Now the real question is why is Les Miles schizophrenic? Why does he Continue to recruit 2 totally different QBs year in and year out? Does he like a 2 QB system?

Stop living in the past 4 years. JJ wasn't considered a dual threat out of h.s. anyway. By the way our pro style qb the last 4 years wasn't exactly great either. Maybe since the dual threat or the pro style qb were both bad we just don't recruit qbs at all? OP ur dumb. Be happy we picked up a good player and stop complaining.

Is Jennings really a "dual-threat" guy, or more of an athletic pocket passer? Looking at some videos and reading reviews, he's slinging it.

Registered in 2010 and 30 posts (including all the ones in this thread)? Hmmm.
But I do like your interests:
Not too often you run across fans of that old Roger Moore T.V. show.

Just to piss your close-minded arse off, and it works. Miles just beat you. How does that make you feel?
