OL has been a major concern of mine since we lost an entire class of OL a couple of years ago.

Glad to see all of these OL coaches in waiting on this board.

Hopefully Mr Williford earns some playing time.

A relative of one of the players advised me that Williford has the most improved weight training numbers of all the '09 freshmen. He said they expect him to be in the two-deep next fall.

I too covet the 6 8 330 southern MIss behemoth, ever since he went to the LSU summer camp. However I read that his interests lie elsewhere. Ditto his monster teammate in high school, who attended with him.

I presume he is learning to bend a bit. He looked like Frankenstein in the high school videos. Still, I am glad for his sake that he is getting in shape.

Well one reason we had problems with the oline is we had 2 rsfr staring and both were like
270-280lb. Unless you are an older more mature you basically can't play OL at that weight in the SEC. With the addition of a few new guys our average OL weight should go up 20-25 lbs. that helps alot!! I also think we need a new OL coach but whatever.

I heard that Noone is really in the middle on this one. He's less optomistic than Morning but more positive than Night.

Noone out there...Damien Robinson is a top 25 OL on Rivals which says this about him:
Conclusion: Physically big enough to compete right now, so he may see playing time early on depending on the depth chart. Do not be surprised if he is cross-trained as an right offensive tackle/offensive guard in order to get his size and strength on the field earlier. Robinson could become a real road grader as a run blocker before his career is over.

I've seen him play in person. He is very overrated. His size and potential are the reason for his rating. He's the 2nd or 3rd best OL on his team.
