Saw BJ play live in West Monroe and after watching CGIII on film for two yrs., CGIII looks a little better. I hope so cause the Tiger Nation will need his hard play.

BTW, BJ11 was one of my top 5 Tigers ever.

It wasn't just that bradie was an all American ... It was that he was an academic all American too and played his guts out

Not to mention he made me want to watch the cowboys

Clifton seems to be "cut from the same cloth "

Hard worker, loved by all, pours his soul into the team !

Can't wait... Can't wait

You're comparing basically the two highest rated LBs out of hs to ever go to LSU. They're both awesome.

I'm thinking Garrett-Young will be better than James-Faulk....and that's saying something!!! (Assuming we get Young). Holy shite!!! Chief with badass linebackers....can you imagine how stifling this defense can be????

I still remember hearing the boys state stories about trev Faulk

Basically they made rules bout having to shite standing up or something like that and they tried to force trey to follow the "law"..: let's just say trey knocked a few kids out and the laws were changed

Seems like Brady had a tough time his senior year in high school and his freshman year in college due to his mother's illness and death and Maybe he had already lost his father. At least I think I remember an reading an article about some real trials he went through.

Sort of played in the shadow of Trev Faulk and then Trev chose to leave early and Brady was the man at linebacker.

Jakefromstate, that is what makes the question so thoughtful.

Maybe 52/48 CGIII.

That did happen...where he lost both of his parents in the same year, but I believe it was later on in college..I think even his senior year.

Saban would let Bradie fish at his big house on Highland Rd.

Saban was actually really sad when Bradie was done with his career after the Cotton Bowl and had alluded to Bradie's struggles during the Cotton Bowl press conference after that game.

Actually I remember Bradie not being the most beloved while at WM. I remember hearing a lot about him dogging it in the weight room. So I'd say CG is probably better at the moment, while Bradie really blossomed in college.

Impossible. West Monroe is the only team that holds kids back and he didn't come to WM until his senior year.

We can only hope CG some day matches the greatness of BJ.

Best modern-era LB LSU has produced yet, still have a couple out there in consideration though.
