With Max Browne's USC commitment, when do the other dominoes start falling?

I think Mitch is the most likely, but I prefer Kincade over any of them. Without hesitation.

He is the best of the bunch at sitting back in the pocket, and finding an open receiver. Plus, he is the most accurate of them at delivering the ball to that receiver.

His passing statistics were staggering:
- 186 for 263 (70.7 completion pct)
- 3,270 yards
- 37 touchdowns
- 8 inteceptions

And that doesn't even take into account how much stronger his level of competition has been compared to the other guys (one of the best districts in the country). So, his transition to SEC level ball will be easier than anyone else.

What more can you ask for??? Oh, I forgot - he is under 6 feet tall. Oh, and he is Black.

I'm a big fan of Kincaide as well. While he plays against great competition, he also plays with great talent. Very few schools nationally have the talent that Skyline has. That helps and while not a deal breaker it does leave the possibility that he just takes advantages of the immense weapons he has. Think about his 2 wrs last year. Thomas Johnson, an elite level prospect that could've gone anywhere he wanted and Rashaad Samples, who outplayed Johnson last year in particular in their biggest games. Samples is another that can go just about anywhere he wants though he's not quite the upside prospect Johnson is. That's a lot of talent when facing hs competition. Then again Samples and Kincaide absolutely destroyed our guy Jalen Mills in the playoffs so maybe they are just that good. He's not my preference for a #1 guy in the class but I would be pleased to have him.

The QB dominoes will break soon. Browne really didn't affect any schools outside of USC and Oklahoma so he's really not the 1st domino. The beginning of the dominoes will start with kids like JT Barrett, Bateman etc that have 4-5 schools on their board waiting them out. Hackenberg was sort of the 1st but he was really only thought to be a PSU/Bama battle and suprised by picking PSU so quickly. Word is that most of the qbs are not commiting until mid to late summer so it could be awhile. Barrett could spurn "Urban Myth" and commit to LSU in the next month or so and we'd not have to really worry about it much. That's the best case anyway. The sooner the better for us. Don't want a long drawn out battle for a QB in the class unless it's a second guy.

What are you guys hearing about Cooper Bateman? It seems like he wants to go to an SEC school and in one article he said that he enjoyed his 2 visits before Auburn (one visit to Bama and the other to LSU). I doubt he meant it that way because right after he said that he liked his visit to Auburn as well. In that same article he said he was going to visit Florida and then Washington before returning home to make a decision. He also said that he had no current leaders. It is very difficult to get a read on him.

I haven't seen where anyone feels really confident with him. There was hardly any buzz about his LSU visit so I'd venture to say we aren't getting him. Personally think it comes down to Auburn/UF with Washington the sleeper because of Sark but depth could hurt them. I'd be pleasantly but hugely suprised if he chose LSU. No facts either way to back that up but just a feel and the fact there is no buzz surrounding him in LSU circles. We usually know when a kid is really a guy we are a strong possibility for.

Yep. Honestly I'm just hoping Bama can pull in a QB that we already know about instead of offering a kid in the late summer. Saban wants to see them throw in camp before he gives them committable offers and the pattern lately seems to be that all the top QB's want to make their decisions early.

I would love to get Kincade. One hell of a QB, is showing off at camps so far and already knows how to play the position at his height. Also doesn't hurt to get a guy from Skyline. While Texas will always have a better pipeline in the school, it is always good to make your mark in a school like that

Jeez, the fact that Kincade has experience playing with talented teammates at the skill positions is yet another reason for LSU to pursue him. After all, he will never be lacking for weapons if he is quarterbacking LSU. And it will be nice to finally have a QB who actually knows how to take advantage of any mismatches that we may have in the passing game.

Agree GA about Kincaide and if he keeps performing the way he has so far, he may become a guy that is considered a #1 guy in a class for a program like us. I'm just not their yet but would be pleased to have him either way. If it were up to me he'd already be offered and commited.

Kevlanmei, I understand what you're trying to say but the point of me bringing that up is that the difference between top hs talent and the other hs kids they play against a great majority of the time, is substantially large. In college the difference is minimal in regards to the kids that play in a given week. The differences are not comparable. Similar to the junp from college to the NFL. Imo the jump in competition from hs to college is much larger than the college to NFL jump particularly at the SEC level. Again maybe Kincaide and his guys are just that good and the jump doesn't matter. We'll find out .
