No offense, but please don't say Mawae. He is an unknown as far as coaching/recruiting. Who is out there that we could/should throw a blank check at to get us signing multiple 5* and 4* linemen every year? I'm genuinely curious.

Cregg certainly needs to be fired, just for the recruiting end of things.

It's not so much an Oline coach

OSU has Stud - we had stud for a few years but OsU rakes in top Oline every year
UGA lost Pittman - yet Kirby was able to reel in another haul
Bama has position coach change almost every year - reals them in.

I think it's O that has to be the one to truly get it done. Unless there is some bad arse Oline recruiter out there.

Hi, I'm Kevin Mawae pro football hall of famer and former president of the players association. Would you like for me to coach you the next 4 years?

Is it really that hard to get studs with that pitch?

Sam Pittman was the best oline recruiter. He’s not an option.

OU has a great Oline recruiter.

I’d look at a highly popular and successful Tx high school h.c and promote him to recruit Texas oline men.

I heard Shea say this morning that the way have already sent offers to 20 o lineman for the 2022 class which is well above where they normally are at this time in the recruiting cycle. So it seems they at least understand the issue and are changing the game plan. Will it work and/or is it too late for O to turn it all around? Time will tell

jesus christ people, we are the CURRENT Joe Moore Award winner. I get that the OL recruiting has been our weak spot by a wide margin for a long time, but Id rather have a guy who can coach up average players than someone who is lost with 5s.

Do you think he coached up the line well this season?

Grant Delpit won the Thorpe award and he sure as hell wasn't the best DB that year.

I appreciate it but it's very late.

Last year 3 3* and 1 4* this year just 1 4*

I mean if they weren't sending out that many offers to begin with then they thought they had a good Oline recruiter now we are just spraying and praying.

We desperately need a solid Oline class next year. We'll always have receivers and running backs. We have our QB. We need lineman on both sides and corners next year.

You really think they were the best OL? shite OL in 18 to “Joe moore” in 19, back to shite in 20.

That was Brady, Joe and Clyde. Think back to all the amazing plays in 19, Joe or Clyde were scrambling for their lives and made plays. It’s like saying grant Delpit was the best DB in 19. I mean he won the award, right. But we all saw
