Except USC isn’t that high end area. That would be UCLA. USC gets all the hype tho.

USC is over paying this cycle, they are throwing everything at this cycle for a couple reasons:
They raised money
They did poorly in the last class (19 recruits) I think.
They did absolutely nothing in the transfer cycle and LOST players.
Riley’s job is in the line. Go look at 247 rankings, they are number 1 but with close to 30 signees. Majority 3 stars.
I believe they are throwing a lot but it’s all over the place and riding hard on this one class.
If they win they’ll be in good shape. If they lose this year the wheels will fall off this recruiting class.

He left the state 15 years ago as a teenager, never had a significant impact anywhere he played, and only recently transitioned to coaching.

Yes it is. Not to get political, but there’s homeless people everywhere, taxes and prices are outrageous, and people are fleeing by the masses from what everyone thinks is “paradise.” The glory days of Los Angeles are long gone.

does it really matter? 100% the class this year doesn't stay together and they drop out of the top 5.
