The lingering NCAA sanctions probably isn’t helping recruiting, but rebuilding a basketball team doesn’t take 3 years. Very few good players are even in school for that long. You only have around 9 guys who even play in a season. With the portal, a good recruiter can turn a team around in one offseason. Look at the women’s team.
We literally just had a football team rebuilt instantly. No sense in thinking it can’t be done in a sport that requires significantly fewer players and less depth.

CMM will do fine in the off-season. Needs a full cycle and we’ll be competitive next year, then top 25 year 3.

Why would he come to program that is 3rd in the pecking order from one that basketball is king? He'll never get the "$upport" he wants from LSU for basketball. We are a football school with Baseball a closer 2nd than at most. Men's BB knows their place.
