Who does LSU finish out with?

Alford
Ward
Brown

and whoever MSU wants

I'm starting to wonder with the guys still left on our board that LSU really seems to want if the staff is going to ask some current commits to look elsewhere? I would hate that for those guys but we are still looking at Alexander, Collins, Phillips, Brown, Ward, Alford, Liggens, etc. If any of those guys want in...they're in...I would think.

I try to give you the same info on Mississippi kids such as Alford. I have a feeling he will sign with LSU.

That's the second part of my question, how can they "get in" with the new scholarship limitation rules?

Do you think Les will pull scholarships from kids who have been committed for months?

For me, it's too early to tell who we finish out with. I gotta think we finish with most of top LA guys (Collins and either Devall or Phillips, don't think we'll get both) and have huge out of state surprise. But, I'm pretty sure we take a full class of 25.

I have zero 'inside information,' but based on what I've heard from this board in my constant lurking and what has happened time and time again with Les and his classes, I think we finish

1. Collins
2. Phillips/Devall
3. Liggins/Alford
4. Alexander
5. Ward/Edwards/Stanford

I think we will get Collins, Alexander, one of the QBs, and then likely one of Phillips/Devall and the last three are all long shots but Les has shown a history of getting a long-shot conversion on NSD.

You can. Greyshirting doesn't affect the 25 limit. It affects the 85 limit. When you grey shirt it means you signed a LOI. that means you must count to a signing class. Greyshirting pushes you back one class. So instead of being a member if our 12 class, they will instead join the team the following January as a full member with 5 years to play 4. If we grey shirt a player this year then they must be counted in the 2013 class.

Ohh ok I got ya on greyshirting, but 25 is the magic number. You can't go over and you can't count back

I agree it's still a little early to know for sure who we finish with.We have more guys interested than we can take.

Jeremy Hill if he gets everything cleared up and wants in what do we do?I don't think anyone knows

Dwayne Stanford we wanted him at one point alot but with his likely OSU commitment and some tight numbers,I'm not sure he's really a huge want at this point
D'haquille Williams. If he's qualified then I see no way we don't find a spot for him.I am not sure anyone knows for sure whether he will be in this class or next year's

Richie Brown if we miss on Phillips or Devall then he slides into their slot if he wants it.I wouldn't be suprised if he was turned away if the big time DL wanted in

Deon Bush. If we miss on Collins then Bush is our next option.

We will definitely take 25 and my best guess at this point and purely a guess with a couple of these based on the unknowns of D. Williams and J. Hill
