247 is easily the best. Espn is definitely the worst.

And nothing is close to 24/7 composite for rankings. All services will have a handful of "wtf" rankings for players and the composite normalizes that a good bit.

247 tbh just because of their write ups and individual grades. If anything they’re watching film and grading every portion of the athlete.

Scout and Rivals aren’t bad but to me it’s like Mike Farrell watches one game and makes his decision.

ESPN is straight garbage.

ESPN’s ranking is basically this:

If you’re playing in the Under Armour All-American game on their network, you get a massive bump.

If you play on their network at some point during the year in high school, you get a medium bump.

If you commit to a big school, you get a small bump

Rivals last since they give 3 stars to fake players with bama offers

The actual 247 rankings have been significantly more accurate in my opinion. I’m amazed people think that averaging in two less accurate rankings makes the composite better.

247 is the best but even their ratings are questionable. It's best to just form your own opinion.

247, but rivals is making a comeback. ESPN is useless.

Not sure where or how anyone has actually tracked this

Rivals is good, they do their work, they have a lot of guys dedicated to looking at film, host camps, etc...

ESPN is kind of a joke, if it wasn't for their name nobody would put any stock into their rankings. They dont have near the manpower Rivals and 247 do.

The 247 composite has the most data/scout input.

Remember rankings are sticky, people don’t like to back off their initial projections even when they have much better information down the line. Look at the AP poll.

Take it all with a grain of salt but composite will at least give you a multitude of angles.

Exactly. And I do understand there are some people who really love LSU and are big fans, supportive, genuine, that have never played and don't really understand what they are looking for in order to accurately evaluate a player, but there are those that are clueless but talk shite, are ignorant and make stupid statements just to seem as they know what they talking about and cling to every single star on a recruiting ranking. These are the ones that will gripe about LSU offering a 3 star versus a 5 star. But those that know what they are looking at will watch most of those 3 stars and know, the kid is a lot better than a 3 star. These are the ones that need to just stfu!!!
