I mean LSU did very good with transfers. But just curious from those in the know who got the most out of the guys from portal and if anyone keeps detailed information on the portal transfers and their impacts on teams.

USC. They got whoever they wanted from Oklahoma.

Probably SoCal, OleMiss, and LSU in that order.

USC. Getting a Star QB who will probably be a heisman finalist, the reigning Biletnikoff winner plus another former 5 star WR and an All Conference RB from your main conference competition. Caleb Williams, Addison and Dye are a pretty solid big 3 and then you also got Mario Williams from the Sooners as well.

I like the under the radar players LSU got
Wasn't because of NIL
They have come in and balled for LSU and it got to them SEC West title game

being non bias it has to be lsu. starting QB and half the starters on defense. lso add the punter and long snapper. all have been significant. OLE iss and usc also got QBs and while caleb williams maybe be the best of the 3 it has to be lsu.

Jackson States in that conversation based off volume alone. Impactfulness I'd say OM or LSU

Thus far, the correct answer in that order. However, that question is answered at the end of the year. Whoever makes it to the playoffs out of LSU and USC is the actual winner

I would put LSU ahead of Ole Miss now. Maybe not at the beginning of the season. We under estimate how big a get Wingo was. I think at this point in the season Daniels was a better get than Dart. Also we have pretty much a new secondary filled with transfers that have played above and beyond expectations. Now I’m convincing myself that I would move up LSU to the top spot in the transfer portal rankings

Someone said that they thought Connecticutt since they didn't have a football team 2 years ago and now are going to a bowl game...

I would say Us, USC, and Tennessee. With the QB and secondary we were able to win the west which is pretty impressive. I would like to see how everyone finishes before making the final verdict.

Don't forget long snapper, Slade Roy & punter, Jay Bramblett for LSU. Both bright spots on our special teams this year!
