Bradford is not going to pass up playing with this group

Maybe signing his brother who wasn't LSU caliber was supposed to show how much we wanted him .
His brother has much better ball skills & more likely to stick as a traditional rangy FS.
Blaine has some things going for him (size, speed, defensive temperament) but has no plays on the ball on his jr tape. shite, the 2nd “PBU” they highlight on his Hudl is defensive pass interference.
Curious to see what his Sr year holds but he has to improve to justify being a 5 star.

Austin Thomas seems to be the mastermind behind these moves.
yeah, if anyone should be credited with these hires, it should be him

and i'd still take him in an a heartbeat... losing a 5 star that is literally in your backyard, the optics alone are terrible...
and like you said, he's got the physical tools... he can learn the intricacies of the position, but you can't teach height, speed, etc...

optics don't mean anything except to emotional fans

and future recruits and opposing coaches and recruiters... and THAT is what I mean by the optics of it... losing top 5, 5 star rated recruits from under your nose gives a lot of ammo to those you don't want to give it to

Petitto needs to give Bradford that $pecial feeling.

How the hell does LSU not recruit the top safety in country that’s right in LSUs backyard hard enough? And on top of that, safety is a big need for LSU still
Don’t believe Any of that stupid shite that comes from recruits mouths? You really think we have the top class average wise and dropped the ball with Bradford?
He loved Petitto, let’s see if Bradford makes the 2 mile drive to ops building in the next few weeks.

Exactly!!! These are program changing hires! Especially Petito, but all these guys have a role to play with Austin Thomas understanding how to work the numbers and within the rules to maximize our NIL efforts... we'll see on Blaine, he's a need and a proven talent.

Lol. What are you guys fascination with self proclaimed "thanos" and his 10 HS games? Was his t shirt Olympic performances that impressive? OSU and Oregon BOTH said no thanks for him at that price with absolutely no real film to go off of. Wish him the best but LSU made the decision to pass. As u can see they paid the price for Lamar and Rich with no problem. I would prefer Duece who's actually produced more than one year, leave "Thanos" where he is best of luck to him
Posted on 7/13/25 at 8:49 am to BetaPhi681
Give him some extra cash, ott why would he not want to be part of " what's to come" with LSU football! He's tiger bait or not, hope he chooses wisely.
Posted on 7/13/25 at 9:02 am to Underteaux
OSU currently has commits from 3 top safeties and trending for one ranked higher than Bradford. This may be something for Bradford to consider along with Petitto’s departure

zero
NIL is the primary reason recruits pick schools right now
might not be the only factor but it's the primary factor
bag them or you don't get them
it's that simple. relationships are so far behind in this current recruiting landscape.
the "big" recruits that say it are lying. they came because of the bag money the relationship was just cherry on the top.

Then I guess LSU should just give up on Blaine and let him become an All American at Ohio State since his highlights aren’t spectacular.
Posted on 7/30/25 at 2:03 pm to BetaPhi681
There hasn't yet ben a whole lot of buzz about flipping Bradford from tOSU, but it sounds like Lamar Brown has really been his ear about LSU since committing.

Why do people get their panties in a wad over loosing a recruit.Move on and get players who want to be here. His loss won’t win or lose us a championship, fact!!
