Ran a 4.76 forty.
The one good thing about ESPN recruiting is that they keep the combine tests numbers for all of the kids that went to the camps and events.

Offer this kid already, damn! We are so stuck on this 40 time crap! All we want to see is kids running sup 4.4's. Give me kids that can play football, especially the Mike which we need.

I hope we offer, the kid would commit in a minute.. Great character, high motor, would fit great in Aranda's system.

The rumblings in the 7th Ward are he will be a Tiger.

A legit 4.76 at 239 lbs is pretty darn good. That's why I posted it.

I'm telling y'all, if this kid comes from the family I think he does, it's like they were bred for football (no joke intended)

Do any high school football buffs that read this thread remember the name Eddie Lafrance from belle chasse in the 90s?? Pretty sure they're cousins

Old school St Aug family (she taught there, had a son play there in the 90s, know Frank etc).

Keep in mind this is pre Arranda and directly linked to what Beckwith does, but LaFrance was told he would have an offer.

I'll make you a prediction, if we take 28 Lafrance and the MLB from Ehret both have a scholarship.

Did you mean to say OLB? Or is the other LB from Ehret a MLB also?

4.76 40 for a damn near 240 pound linebacker is outstanding. Also a 40 hardly matters for a LB. His shuttle on the other hand (4.3) is elite and that measures his burst and change of direction. Thats a major factor of being a good linebacker and he lays the wood. This guy is a sleeper and needs to be a Tiger.

Maybe he's one of the players Devin White was talking about. (I didn't know they played American football in France.)

Watched 5 minutes of his highlights...I would love for him to be a Tiger! Any quality LB depth is needed

Physical at the point of attack/ uses hands well
Runs through tackles/ shows up with violent force
Sees it and attacks doesn't hesitate
10-15 yard closing speed was impressive also

He put on 30lbs in a year, and still picked up a hundreth!
No time on him since March 2015, stinks. Would love to see him run today. That 4.99 was the first one I found last week, and I stopped there. He is worth the second look. If the rumblings are correct, no De'jon Harris. That could free a spot for him if we don't fill up the cart this weekend.

03/26/15: 4.8

03/27/14: 4.99

03/06/14: 4.81

Looks like he committed to the Hogs over the weekend.

I really like this kids film. Being from St. Aug probably couldnt have hurt with Christmas-Giles.

Will be interesting to see if he turns into a player in a few years as we will have to face them. Hoping Frank Wilson before him, and Aranda after knew what they were doing

Wow, we need LBs and this kid has instincts and brings the wood

When I saw his film a few weeks back I couldn't and still don't understand why we did not offer. The kid can play and he hits with the violence you want to see from the linebacker position, looks underrated watch and see in 3 years you will be hearing his name a lot he will be a force.

I know we can't take everyone in the state but this kid looks like he should have been a taker!!! Prediction in 2-3 years this board will being saying "how and why did we let this kid slip away"
