re: Remaining Targets?

Are we still taking the younger McKinley?

Who to start?

Posted by BayouBoy44 on 12/24/24 at 8:29 pm
WR’s advice currently have Puka and Nico Collin’s in 2 spots, but for the flex still undecided.

Options to choose are Tee Higgins vs Smith-Njigba.

Who you choosing?

The days of Les Miles are long gone!!

Salute to the Defense!

Posted by BayouBoy44 on 11/7/22 at 9:57 am
Hats off on the coaching scheme, effort and execution.

House’s scheme kept Young uncomfortable with constant pressure and confusion by dropping underneath to hot reads forcing him to hold the ball and keeping him at bay from scrambling with disciplined rush lanes. Hats off H. Perkins and Wingo!

To the Effort! Thank you Major Burns didn’t give up even when beat and saved a TD.

Defense swarmed all night played with purpose and tenacity but most of all not many MISSED TACKLES. Huge execution there to limit big plays, outstanding!

Help! Who to keep

Posted by BayouBoy44 on 8/14/20 at 7:17 am
12 team PPR league, 1st year we are doing keepers so keeping a player nullifies 1st round pick and draft position. If a player is kept I move from 10th to 1st and player will be 1st overall luck basically

Players to choose from;
Qb: L. Jackson
Rb: D. Henry
Wr: Julio, T. Hill

Trading Draft Picks

Posted by BayouBoy44 on 8/24/18 at 11:21 am
Currently have the 4th pick but don’t know that the asking price should be. What would you give up for the 4th overall spot 1st and 3rd?
He submitted the sample from a pregnant female and failed, that’s the double whammy. Heard first hand from a player on the team that is the issue.

re: Do you feel the same?

Not necessarily a lot of these teams that move the ball with ease key on 1 on 1 matchups they get their athletes the ball in space and make the defender have to make the play...if they miss it’s a big gain/TD. It’s all about numbers with spread offenses that dictate where the ball goes and the advantage is soft box run
heavy box 1 on 1 outside and win your matchup

No they may punt..but they at least adjust mid game! If pressure is getting home teams throw screens and quick passes not play action bombs that takes time to develop

Oh and they utilize intermediate passing game as well not just a hitch or Go route as their route tree

Do you feel the same?

Posted by BayouBoy44 on 10/5/17 at 9:11 pm
How frustrating is it you all when watching other college football games and see teams moving the ball with such ease!!!!!!

No negative plays, decent blocking and completed passes but most of all a game plan that built off attacking a certain area and it being successful

Just venting.....

Waiver Rb’s

Posted by BayouBoy44 on 10/3/17 at 5:28 pm

McCoy, Demarco Murrary, Theo Riddick, Derrick Henry

Top waiver backs are Latavious Murrary, Legarret Blount who should I drop?
Leaning Riddick for Murrary

Tommy Tuberville Encounter

Posted by BayouBoy44 on 12/17/16 at 9:55 pm
Just ran into Tommy Tuberville in Aspen, CO. Really cool guy took a photo cracked some jokes

Told him I was from Louisiana. Said "Always Remember those Cigars" after I gave him a Tigerbait for kicks.

Said I used to love beating you guys....said too bad your not any good at coaching anymore (Elevator doors close)

My God the 2nd play of that highlight! Never saw it before.....Fake the Screen with Trips to the Field and show run with pulling guard faking the Qb keep and throw to the RB coming from the backfield who faked the block for a TD!!! Wow!!!
Yes he is. He suggested it he's heavy at RB but lacking WRs has ajayi forte micheal and Elliot

Trade Advice- A.J Green for E. Elliot

Posted by BayouBoy44 on 11/1/16 at 5:06 pm
Full PPR 12 team League

Need Rb help have L. Miller, T. Riddick, James White and J. Rodgers

WRs- Aj Green, T.Y, Alshon Jeffery, D. Moncrief and John Brown, Corey Coleman

Seems fair and would def help in the rb depth department

re: Condon on After Further Review

Listened to it live and caught the portion where he stated it was the anniversary of the day OJ Simpson got acquitted and stated that was the day the Black Lives Matter movement began bc a prominent black athlete got off of a double murder.
Went on to state had the athlete been a white popular running back like Larry Zonka and killed 2 black people what would have happened if he got acquitted. Saying the streets would've been burned down

Absolutely unnecessary and ignorant to state that as the beginning of Black Lives Matter painting a portrait to say Black people rejoice at the lost lives of whites. Guy is a clown in all ways

Taking my girlfriend fishing for the first time and looking for some active bank areas either in the city or surrounding areas. Any help would be greatly appreciated

re: Netflix: Friday Night Tykes

Yes the Colts coach going there is a big disadvantage. But the Colts had the best player in the state at rb called him TD!! Kid was on another level of speed! Can't wait to see how continues to develop and if he makes noise nationally, he was easily the most impressive player each time he touched the field

re: Netflix: Friday Night Tykes

Posted by BayouBoy44 on 2/17/16 at 2:37 pm to
My God was he pathetic!!! He thought those kids no type of fundamental or form that they can build a foundation off of!

His coaching was to holler HIT THEM IN THE HEAD! You Understand!

Netflix: Friday Night Tykes

Posted by BayouBoy44 on 2/17/16 at 1:54 pm
All I can say is wow! If you haven't seen the series yet it's well worth the watch. Its basically Hard Knocks for 8-11 year old kids in Texas' highest class of youth football. Shows kids work ethic and dedication but after watching made me think about my own kids and possible concussions with them hitting so young. Well worth the watch!!!!!

Les Miles Press Conference

Posted by BayouBoy44 on 2/3/16 at 4:28 pm
Has Hinted towards the defensive shift in philosophy by stating repeatedly Okie Defense which is a 3-4 Front that's always fo a 2 gap style of defense and a lot of stunts! Similar to the Pittsburg Steelers, Houston Texans and New Englad Patriots

Also I believe we should see a lot more 4-2-5 similar to the bowl game with Tre White at Safety with Jamal Adams being closer to the line of scrimmage allowing for more blitzing and impact against the run. Also allows to bring more pressure with favorable matchup switch White at safety being able to cover slots and tightends
Watched 5 minutes of his highlights...I would love for him to be a Tiger! Any quality LB depth is needed

Physical at the point of attack/ uses hands well
Runs through tackles/ shows up with violent force
Sees it and attacks doesn't hesitate
10-15 yard closing speed was impressive also

First time watching Prisoners

Have no idea why I waited so long! Pretty good movie very dark, eerie and emotional driven.

Hugh Jackman does a good job of showing the extent and anguish a parent would go through to find their missing child at any means. Def worth the watch
