With Fowler and Divinity coming or already on board, and a lot of big-impact D Line talent on the board, I'm not going to second guess the staff on this one. We aren't just a hat on the table for these top defensive players anymore. O and Peveto are bringing them in. But that means we can't offer all of the guys with big upside in LA.

If they bring in another 3-4 LBs next year, and some of our lighter DEs get some cross-training under Aranda, we will be just fine.

Agreed. I think Fowler, Thorton and Divinity are all LB's in Arandas system

I thought it was a made up name when I first saw it on the SECrb.

Wow Arky got a good one. I hadn't even heard of this guy but I just watched his senior year tape. He may not have the fastest 40 but he looks like a damn good MLB. I would've offered him in a heartbeat. Perhaps that's a reason that I'm not making the big bucks as recruiting coordinator/coach. The second reason would be that Ive never coached in my life maybe LSU will offer late.

I have seen him play. He is a good LB for a run stop D. His coverage recognition and skills are poor. No matter what his HIGHLIGHT VIDEO shows he has trouble in coversge. It should tell you something that his only SEC offer is Arkansas and that j is list of offers are primarily Sunbelt, Tulane, USM, ULL type programs.

I wisj him well but he is not nearly the type player LSU is looking for. As hard as A&M is recruiting Louisiana and as badly as they need help on D they did not offer.
