(What a Top 10 and Top 5 Recruiting Class COULD look like for LSU FB)…

The most pertinent piece to either of these what-if scenarios was getting a commitment from Gabriel Reliford, which has already gone our way. With his addition, we went up from 14th on 247 to 12th, and 13th on ON3 to 12th. Coach Brian Kelly is notorious for massive last-second surges in his recruiting classes, so there’s a pre-established precedent here, and this all isn’t entirely out of the realms of possibility…
First Step: Attaining Gabriel Reliford, accomplished.
Second Step: We’re probably not getting Drelon Miller, I try to never say never but just forget about him. The real prize and replacement are Georgia Commitment, NiTareon Tuggle. Flipping Tuggle (which you’re likely to do) will give you the 10th-ranked class on 247, and the 10th-ranked class on ON3. And just like this, you’re in the top 10, but of course, there’s more.
Third Step: Terry Bussey, that’s it. You have the 5th ranked class on 247, and ON3, and at nearly 3 points higher than Miami’s class on 247.
Fourth Step: Expect unexpected names at positions of need or positions of want to arise. I think you get both Tuggle and Bussey, and MAYBE one more name nobody has ever considered at a position of need the staff thinks is most relevant. Jaden Hamlin (JUCO) is still rumored to come to us. Those in the know still have eyes on Selman Bridges (Arkansas), Marcus Mascoll (Florida), Jude Foster (Ole Miss), Charleston Collins (Arkansas), Blake Ivy (Texas A&M), and Tyanthony Smith (Texas A&M). Although I don’t think any of them will be factors at all, nor do I think they decommit, stranger things have happened... Remember the Weston Davis out of nowhere news? He was on a long list of players on my radar because it was mentioned way back when, but it wasn’t mentioned since then so it was surprising to me at the time that he flipped. The staff can replicate that. Ground can be made on recruits in the dark, it’s happened many times before. Just look at the Transfer Portal, Chase Bisontis was on my top five portal want list, and now LSU is trending for him. It was a long shot, but they’ve worked themselves into the conversation. Who the heck knew about Tuggle from Georgia until this week? My point is, don’t get discouraged. This Staff will finish strong, we’re still in this. Go Tigers.

Are you the guy that also posted the in depth breakdown of the transfer portal watchlist?
Keep posting, please.

On3 has us #6 overall class currently. The other recruiting sites are trash

The class rankings don’t matter until the portal players are included , unless you just want a Signing Day Champs T-Shirt.

I'm seeing ON3 has us at #12 Nationally for 2024.

This was more so for the curious folk running around making comments here and there. Positions of need are more important than class rankings at the end of the day.

I might know that guy, lol.

What if other teams also add players to their classes between now and signing day?

I am starting to really like you. No homo.

What if other classes lose players to their classes between now and then

This is the kind of shite that keeps me coming back to this board. Well done!

Aurelius-I don’t where you came from but when you post-it’s a lot but damn good and worth the read

For real, we need more posters like you.

They 100% will, but this is something I remember reading from last year and it surprised me, I don’t recall where. But essentially, LSU was one of a handful of teams that was surging last year towards early singing day. Believe it or not, most teams become stagnant around this time and or start to wrap up their class. Given CBK’s history, this is normal for his classes, late round surges that exceed what MOST teams will do. Not all, but most. That’s what I’m banking on, just like last year.

I really appreciate all the support, it makes it easier to do all this.

Thank you for this post and the other one.
Posts like these are why the Recruiting Board is solid. No trolls; well-presented info. Need more posts of this tone (not topic…) on the Rant. That place needs a scrubbing.

Y’all will blow him until his ego is inflated. He will go from reporting to predicting commitments. He will be wrong once or twice. Other posters will pop out saying they knew he was a fraud the whole time. But he won’t disappear until some of his supporters, like you, turn on him. Then he’ll pop up with a new name next recruiting season. And it repeats.

I was a lurker since the early 2000’s, created my account a few years ago when my old high school had it’s first LSU commit since the 60’s. I’ve seen some really good posters come and go and I’ve enjoyed reading them all. People like you, Crown and a few others that I’m missing, make this board what it is. Solid work!
