Is Cain number 9? He absolutely murdered Catholic..

Turner is 10 right? What his expected position in college? Not qb right? DB ? WR? RB?

Turner is qb. Cain is 15. Talton is 9. Talton is a junior, but is out of eligibility. Turner will be listed as an athlete next year.

I knew Turner played QB.. just didn't know what he would play in College..

I dont remember seeing 15 too much.. I was more impressed with number 9..

Or was he just having a few good weeks... is 15 better?

does Turner have staying power or is he gonna be like DJ Banks and make people think he is a top prospect as a JR but end up with only mid major offers come signing day?

We were at the WM game, and Allen was very good. They did not run at him often and he is definitely a high motor guy- running down plays from the backside and hustling every down. He limited the Rummel offense just by being there- doesn't matter how many tackles he had or his stats. He is very good.

No he didn't. He is a great player no doubt, but he did not limit Rummel's offense.

Is it acceptable to call him "Kitty-cat" now.

judging by the score and results, I'd say the defense in general limited Rummel

Coach Jay should not have talked to Scott about playing in the dome.

He's the Marv Levy of La High School football

Actually Rummel's offense didn't really need much help to be "limited".

What did Roth say? Just watched Allen's comments after the game and he was still pissed off.

"I mean we had to go out and prove ourselves. You know we couldn't, we read all this stuff in the media and the paper about how they are THE great defense and stuff you know. I mean where did we go? Are we under a rock somewhere? How Rummel's coach was saying something about putting 14 points on us and it was going to be a banzai, a blowout. I mean you don't know how many players were pretty...pretty hacked off."

When did Roth say anything? All I saw all week was Roth saying the defense has carried them all year and he didn't expect anything else in the Dome.

I dont know what Allen is talking about. Didnt see any bulletin board material.

maybe he read the Times Picayune or something...they obviously are going to write about Rummel. Maybe that ticked them off.

I think you guys may have been Jordy Hultberg'd ala Lsu vs. Bama in 02'. Jay Roth would be the last person to give any team bulletin board material. If he were to start doing this, I doubt he'd wait until West Monroe to start.

We apparently had our fair share of jack-offs on nola.com, and maybe that is where it came from. I played under Jay Roth, and have been coaching with him for 5 years, and I've never once heard him bad mouth any team or players.

Curtis gets them all. They had a good group that are freshman right now. They had 1 from Jefferson, 2 from Bright, and 1 from Delta who were studs, and all 4 are at Curtis.

We have one who is an 8th grader that should see time next year. He is very good. Not the biggest, but good.
