West Monroe folk, Max Hunter now at Neville?

On 247 it has Max listed as Neville High School.
Da freak? That is a big loss if he transferred. Kid was really coming along at the end of the year and was highly impressive at both cornerback and return man.
He is going to be a top 10 corner if he stays at that position, but is it true he is at Neville now?

Yes, about a month ago. He transfered right after West Monroe's Football Banquet. He confronted Arledge the next day. Hunter said he was mad he didn't get an award at the banquet so he was transferring.

I know nothing about this situation but I find this hard to believe.

Looks like he he has put on a couple of inches of height (5-11) and a little weight (162). If he can add another 20 pounds of muscle this year, he'll start getting some good offers.

He and that quarterback are two outstanding prospects.
Im pissed he is gone. Dude found his spot at corner and was lock down for being asked to man the other corner position so quick seeing as he was playing running back all year.
Elite speed, quickness, hips. Great control also. Will have to refine technique at the position. But, it was clear he would be exceptional in two years time as returner and cornerback. Neville will put him all over the field.

I believe that he gave up what turned out to be the game winning TD vs Zachary in the second half. I'd prefer to see him at receiver and return man. You have to have a different mentality to play defense.
He has already transferred to Neville once - during his freshman season - without telling anyone, but his Dad made him come back to WM. Of course, this was before his half brother was kicked off of the WM freshman team later that season.
After hearing other things during the season, the confrontation with the HC over an award, doesn't surprise me at all.

Sounds big mad. The miss snap punt at the beginning of that game lost it,or maybe Zacharys dline that dominated the online lost it. Are lets see the dropped two point conversion. Wait hold up and the miss field goal that the special team award kicker missed. Kid got threw in at DB at the end of last two games of the season and played well. Who else wouldve had the speed to cover those WR? DB is a hard position to play and my opinion damn gd job and fatigue covering. You cant blame one play on the lost. After he ran 55 yds on the ensuing kickoff to put them in a scoring situation. Football is a 4 quarter team game. After reading the opinions Rebel nation post,it was the best move Gd luck Max.

Don't know why Neville wpuld accept him.
If he is that much of a "me" first type player as insisted here.
He may have given up that last TD, but the last TD was a very good route of about a 10 yard curl and he made a bad attempt at the tackle. But, the whole game he was locked down on their fastest receiver outside and helped limit their deep ball significantly.
He then made a big return on the ensuimg kickoff aftee the TD im pretty sure.
Kid can play and has all the tools. Seems like he was using West Monroe for his own future endeavors. Glad he is gone if all os true.

Yea it was something like well think about it over the weekend. His mom couldnt check him in school Wm coach telling counselor not to drop Max. And about after 5 miss calls he still got the same answer when parent called back. Dont flatter yourself.Guess what it was? Gd luck! Peace! The end.
