Why did the Norris kid transfer? I think situations might've been similar. Why did the Sterlington kid transfer. Stop acting like its a big deal because he left WM. 2500 kids he wont be hard to replace.

Young man has some talent. He may or may not have got a lot of playing time at the running back position with Wright in front of him and Cooper coming up a grade behind him. He ran the ball well but he did not block very well. That is why they had him at cornerback the last two games.

He definitely would have been used for next two years somewhere on the field and had great success. But his dad was butthurt after the banquet that his son did not get an award. The young man is just a sophomore and did not even play in every game. It really is a shame they had that reaction.

Don't know why Neville wpuld accept him.

If he was such a problem why was he on rebel high's team? Sour grapes

The real gem is Max Hunter. Hey, that kid if he stays at Cornerback is going to be special. He was lock down at the end of the year. He truly impressed. That kid has it all. Everything.

NT79, no doubt y'all have picked up a good player. Not many young players get to contribute even as much as Max did as a sophomore at West Monroe. I do not think there is a West Monroe fan nor coach that would not like to have him on our team next year. I do not believe your coach would put up with the "me first" attitude that was displayed after the banquet. Hopefully a change of scenery will do the young man some good.

McCarty doesn't... Just look at Kavonte Turpin's brother came from Wossman wouldn't go to classes and Mickey booted him off and he went back to Wossman

I'm not sure what you're looking for with this reply. The OP likes him at CB whereas I think that he's more suited to play WR and return kicks. Defensive players have to have a completely different mindset than offensive players - nothing wrong with that.

You cant blame one play on the lost.

I didn't blame the WM loss on Max - again different mindset / technique to playing defense.

After reading the opinions Rebel nation post,it was the best move Gd luck Max.

No one wanted him to leave - he's a very valuable player! I'm sure that he will do well at Neville. People just can't understand why he or a family member would confront the head coach about not receiving an award at an end of season banquet.

Zachary was really good. One of the few teams (if ever) I have seen go to WM and push the Rebels around on the line. That was a great game.

No doubt. They were the better team that night and deserved to win.

I was also at the game and was surprised at how young Zachary was. They return practically their entire team on both sides of the ball.

They have multiple underclass talent that should be highly sought after. Of course Keilon Brown is the top od that list, but Todd McClures son, Maverick McClure, was highly impressive at linebacker. Think he is about 6'4" or so and about 220 as a Sophomore. Kid is special.

They also had a freshman playing against West Monroe, he was #5 (dont have a name); played linebacker and defensive end.

Could see them winning the next two years in a row, with next season being the definitive favorite.
