So how many WR's we sign in this recruiting class? I say 4. Sure wish we could have kept the kid that flipped to A&M.

Is this for real? Lay off Paw Paw's cough syrup for a bit.

Are you sure you follow LSU Football??

You are not aware of our WR's. It is key to keep Chark, but we have Anderson, Gage, Davis, Sullivan, Netherly, maybe Chi returns, and will hopefully add Guidry and Smith. 8 or 9. Petteway is going to be a Jimmie Grahm type of TE/Slot receiver combo. We are fine.

Let em leave. I find it that they don't wanna compete and wanna take the easy way out.Go ahead and leave. We always re-up at WR

LSU is still stacked at WR

So will LSU continue the trend of taking WRs that are only 6'3" or taller or will the new staff recruit some actual slot guys? You can stick a 6'5" guy in the slot, doesn't make him a slot WR.
ETA: We saw Gage assume this role at the end of the year. That's the body type I'm talking about and was just asking if LSU would start taking more guys like this.

Derek Dillon would be the perfect slot receiver. Anyone hearing anything about his progressions?

I say offer Slade Bolden!! Perfect for the slot!

We have two slot recievers. Gage and Dillon.

Was about to say, Gage sure is built like a slot guy. He needs to show he can catch everything in traffic, though.

Hi Mr. Bolden.

I was thinking more in the mold of Donte Jackson. Someone that can just flat out fly. Take screens and slants and turn them into 90 yard touchdowns.

He was taking a shot at me. Not the kind of athlete I'm talking about though honestly. I'm talking about the ridiculously fast slot guys. They didn't fit in Les's system really because LSU's receivers had to be able to block so much.

Pooka Williams (as far as current recruits) fits that mold, I think.

That's the kind of player I'm talking about exactly.
