Nah he's just a 3 star. If he was 4, I'd say he was decent.

Really? He seems to be all over the place. With the number of tackles he is piling up should have no trouble being the leading tackler in the game.

I think he's looked pretty good

he's physical as shite, decent quickness ad speed...has taken bad angles and missed a couple takles

after a redshirt year I think he can become a contributor

He may well contribute, but we need a STUD LB and pronto.

Yea I agree

I think we'll have to look to last years class for that, mainly minter and mingo

I'm excited to see how Minter develops, and I liked Maclin more when I thought he'd be a LB. At least Chavis is getting "his" guys. The dline better step it up in a big way next year.

Looks about 6-0 215 with maybe 4.6-4.7 speed.

Technically sound and has nose for ball. Doubt he will ever be able to physically dominate in SEC, but kid makes a ton of tackles.

He may finish with 15-20 total tackles tonight.

We definitely need guys that can make a tackle. There has been way too much of this "oops I forgot to wrap up" shite going on.

The day Chavis leaves is the day we need to start worrying about our LB corp. He's likely the best LB coach in college football, we'll get good LB play from any group of LBs we sign. If we happen to sign a stud, so be it..but we don't 'need' it like we do linemen.

Lots of smoke about Loston taking over for Coleman next year, if true he will go into what they call "beast mode" quite often
