We have some very tall and athletic TEs for the next 3-4 years

BK always developed great TEs at ND.
Now he has the opportunity (being at LSU and in the south) to develop more athletic TEs.

Our TE room is about to be a real problem for our opponents

I agree. We could really see a shift towards these TEs that we really have not fully taken advantage of on the past.
The NFL is all about the tight end mismatches these days.

I love all of these guys as pass catching prospects. High ceiling for all of them. But what’s gonna make them truly elite is who can block as well.
I love BKs track record at developing OL and TEs and now he has a wealth of talented options. Gonna be fun to watch that room grow and develop into big time difference makers for the tigers. Not an if, but a when.

Correct u are, and Denbrock loves TEs also, working out for Georgia now. They are signing all the top TEs in Kirby’s run after watching Bowers. Now after watching Mason T last year that’s what all those TEs we got coming say first.,
They’re probably a tightnit group, If you’re a good TE and obviously watch college football there’s only about 10 to 15 real good TEs in college. We gotz one of them now, Bowers the best and most popular, but Mason became a national star also. If you build they will come.

except half of them will transfer in 1 year or are you saying we’ll have new ones by then?

Could be but it will likely be the guys that dont hold up their end. So other than perception and message board fodder, does it really matter? Pretty easy to replace a noncontributor. The realty is if they aren't good enough then they really don't factor in anyway. One positive of the portal is it allows for simpler trimming of fat

Would anybody like to share their opinion on what a two tight endSystem will look like under Brian Kelly?
Will we see certain plays where te catch that Florida-Shane-Matthews-style-shovel pitch towards the middle?
Have them split out often like kragthorpe did at Louisville?
Have them as decoys while we run up the middle?
Other thoughts?

I think we’ll try to get the D in a heavy package then split our TEs wide and go hurry up. Creating a mismatch somewhere that they can’t sub out.
