A&M’s dline recruits are all studs and none of them will be picked in the 1st round due to poor development.

I mean TVD had a field day on that line of 5 stars. Their showing is much worst than ours considering they have more depth, higher ranked players, oh and a healthy DLine coach

You're not going to sell to anyone to come play for LSU when you don't have a DL coach. We need dire help on the DL right now and do you see any elite guys knocking our door down? That says it all right there. You think it looks bad right now you better prey some elite DTs step into the portal because LSU is in deep doo doo at DT next season.

I'm confused in what way Smith has regressed? He has to be the most overhyped player we've had since Russell Shepard. No matter the reasons(injury, development etc) the hype is far from justified. He personally overpursued both long 3rd down runs on his way to the qb. When the OL just moves out of your way there is usually a reason. The best pass rush we had all night were on those 2 runs.

I mean he was the #1 player in Louisiana, top 10 in his position, big with speed, showed flashes of his ability in 2021, etc. There were plenty of reasons to be hyped up about him coming into this season.
He hasn't even played a full season of college football, and spent all last season injured so I am not sure anyone can say whether or not he has been overhyped. He's gotta get used to playing the game again, but that doesn't mean he can't live up to the hype after he shakes the cobwebs off. Not saying he will, but seems a bit premature to call him overhyped after playing one or two quarters of football since 2021.
