I really hope we get Williams. I think Koval Joyner Williams want be a big drop off from Morrow Smith Jersey. I've been told that we are gonna get some stud PG from GT .

Never heard of her before since she was at ECU but her number looks pretty good and consistent. She's shorter but I'd expect her to be an upgrade over Wolf.

She’s 6’2
Has 25 points and 10 rebounds on SC earlier this year
If you look over her 3 years against P4 teams she’s done very well against them. Actually she was a top 100 recruit out of HS believe it or not in Flau’Jae class

Same height as Samyah. Her stats compared to Samyah are much better and consistent stats 3 years straight. On film, she is fast and athletic Post. Good foot movement and body control. She is not afraid of contact in the paint and loves to rebound. I like this under the radar pickup. Trusting Coach Kim and coaching staff.

Serah and Amiya could start and we can bring Kate and Grace off the bench. Would be a solid front court rotation

UVA's program's been pretty dead since Debbie Ryan. Have a hard time believing they're paying bigtime money for Smith. Leave a power for a bottom of the ACC program.

I agree but Smith came to LSU because of Coach Mulkey, but her eyes are now elsewhere…whatever

Always enjoy your posts, but I agree. Very athletic and watch her handle the ball in the highlights. Looks like a very solid player

Her first highlight is around the 2:55 mark but doesn’t get cookin’ really until the 2nd half. She has some solid post moves.

Wrong. Kate is the only true 5 on the team. She will start and is our best rim protector. Amiya is a 4 and will come off the bench behind Serah if we get her.

I’m afraid this signing means we’ve lost out on Serah Williams and we’re taking leftovers. If the rumors are true that SW will sign with Texas, that would be a double kick in the nuts.
I said in another thread kinda tongue in cheek that Joyner would make a good backup for Williams but I think we all know she did not come here to sit the bench.
I’ll wait until the smoke clears on SW and other portal targets before I assess this team for 2026 while hoping we don’t have a last minute shocker with MKW and the portal still open another week.

Next years team will be good with or without Williams.

Kate and Amiya have great opportunity to take their skills another level and be stars. To play in front of 10k-13k adoring crowds, and take advantage of NILs.
