Know he’s at TCU today or tomorrow. He and Billy had a good relationship while both were in Lafayette that’s the only reason people are saying UF.
TCU is just coming off a NC game appearance and his HS teammate is there, so it makes sense why the program might be an attractive transfer destination. But I wouldn't count out Florida. Their starting QB for next year seems to be WIDE open and they look to be losing their prized QB signee in this cycle. Even without the Napier/Lafayette relationship Florida would make a lot sense as a potential destination.
Plus, with all of the above on top of a pathetic start for Napier in his first season that peaked in Week 1, he's probably a bit desperate to given the fanbase something to make them believe the program is headed in the right direction. Sonny Dykes went to the national championship game in year 1. Brian Kelly won the SEC West in year one. Lincoln Riley had his team in contention for the playoffs in year one. Mike Elko and Dan Lanning had solid seasons. Billy Napier matched the record of the guy who got fired the year before for going 6-7

You know this by watching his 2 passes and 2 run plays he had this year?

I know top teams like that don’t start players like Howard because they can reach out and take better players with experience anytime they get ready to. Fact!

If he couldn’t challenge Nuss for backup by the Bowl Game, then he’s not ready.

He’s got two visits setup one to Tcu and one to Florida. That’s what I’ve seen

Bama has no QB so logically that’s his best chance to start but I seriously doubt that’s where he lands because the competition will heat up in 2024. I expect TCU.

I realize that Sonny immediately said TCU was the landing spot as soon as hen entered the portal. Jordy came out today and said that Bama is pushing.

That would be pretty funny considering Holstein just signed with Bama and considering that they just redshirted a 5 star QB, Simpson, which would put them both in same class.

Then they get the guy who was ahead of Holstein for the starting QB position in HS and then Holstein goes in to the portal.

College football is getting WILD!

Logically, I say BS. Bama had 4 QB's on scholarship already, 1 of them Milroe was RS Freshman this year (2 years in program) and 1 was T. Simpson, a 5-star who was Bama's Top target in the same class as Howard (and more highly rated). Then you add 2 Top 100-150 guys signed for the 2023 class, Holstein from LA and Lonergan from GA who both enrolled mid-term and I think already went through bowl practices.
They have 4 247 top 100 type guys on scholarship already. He would just be the 5th 247 top 100 type QB on Bama's roster who as of now is clearly 3rd team at LSU.
So do you honestly think that Saban is at the point in his coaching tenure when the 3rd string QB at LSU is just going to come in a beat out 2 guys that are already there and 2 other guys, both who are bigger than Howard.

Howard doesn’t blow me away anyway. I liked nuss in high school better and obviously now too

All I heard about was his strong arm and it didn’t look all that strong in spring when we got a look.
This isn’t a new take either , it’s just not something that I’d come out and say when he’s at lsu . I’m not pirate king or magician

I couldn’t believe it when he said it this morning. I thought come on man ain’t no way

He had to be trolling. I’d laugh if he did and we got Holstein

You don’t have to try and convince anyone here. I doubt anyone that frequents this board believes he’s going to bama or that he’s even considering visiting
