That’s true. With Josh Williams leaving I’m not sure who will be a good 3rd down back. Which RB on the roster can pass block?

Jackson
Holly
Durham
Berry
Lindsay

Yeah let's crowd that room and take touches away even further

If Jackson gets right that group is scary as hell especially with Nuss at QB

I’m afraid Holly will never play another down for LSU the way his case is going.

I know this is a foreign concept with the new era of college sports, but why don't we develop our stud freshman, Durham, to be that guy?

So a true sophomore and 2 true freshman. Took out the other 2 because doesnt look like Holly will play again and Jackson has not been good at all so dont think he is one to get you a yard on 3rd down.

Think getting a veteran RB with 1 year of eligibility would not be a bad thing. Hard nosed guy not afraid to run through someone.

LSU stories of what could have been could fill a book.
I think the DA in this case is not an LSU fan and Holley is not getting the benefit of the doubt. So I agree it is time to move on.
John Emery another guy who's career path looked so promising but go bit buy the injury bug in his money year.
You got to have talent for sure but you got to have the good fortune to avoid the injury bug and there is no formula for that. shite happens unfortunately.
Just recently we have Jacobian go down, Harold go down, and now Whit fx ankle. Football injuries are inevitable part of the game, not if just when is it going to happen. That is why you got to have depth to be successful but with portal that is really a challenge.

Someone(s) will transfer out in the spring portal. It's almost a given LSU will grab one or two as well.

Durham was actually a pretty decent pass blocker for a true freshman. If Kaleb Jackson steps his game up to where he should be in 2025, this offense is going to be crazy. The fact he's not entered the portal has me pretty excited.

Don't forget JuJuan Johnson. Not sure if he's the answer or if he even moves forward as a full time RB, but the kid has a lot of talent and potential.

Have there been any new developments since the attempted murder charge was dropped? That was a pretty clear indicator of weakness in the prosecutor's case. Illegal discharge of a weapon and criminal property damage are a far cry from attempted murder.

Totally forgot about him. I agree, you get the ball in his hands and more good things will happen than bad.

UNION PARISH, La. (KNOE) - New developments emerged Wednesday in the legal battle involving LSU running back Trey Holly as his attorney, Michael Small, received additional evidence in court. The new evidence comes after the prosecution introduced key materials during Holly’s last hearing in September.

Holly, a former Union Parish High School football star, remains off the field and in the courtroom as his legal challenges continue. Initially charged with attempted second-degree murder in connection to a February shooting, the grand jury dismissed that charge in April. However, Holly still faces charges of illegal use of a weapon and aggravated criminal damage to property.

Small, speaking after the court proceedings, expressed concerns about the pace of the process:

“We’re hoping that this process can be expedited to some extent,” Small said.

The attorney also revealed in court that evidence has been gradually turned over since September, with Wednesday’s addition believed to include body cam footage.

Holly, who was suspended from LSU’s football team in February, remains indefinitely sidelined while awaiting the outcome of his legal case. LSU Head Coach Brian Kelly previously stated that Holly’s suspension will stand until the matter is fully resolved.

The next status conference in Trey Holly’s case is scheduled for Feb. 19, 2025.
