Apparently the USC visit blew him away and Lincoln is heading his recruitment.

USC takes lead for Dre'lon Miller in Recruiting Prediction Machine

quote:

Miller is the No. 76 overall prospect and No. 14 wide receiver in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 14 player in Texas.

Miller has an upcoming official visit scheduled with USC for the weekend of June 16 but will visit visit Miami on June 2.

The first and only visit to Los Angeles for Miller came in early April.

Miller gave this quote on USC a few weeks ago when he released his top-7.

“[USC] has the best offensive coach in the country and the way they throw the ball and put players in positions to be the best.”

Miller’s commitment is coming this summer

quote:

Miller is just one month away from announcing his college destination. He shared previously that he will be committing on June 29.

He also previously released a top-7 of USC, Tennessee, LSU, Texas A&M, Duke, Florida, Miami, Georgia, and Penn State.

On3 guys said they’d be surprised if USC is the landing spot at this point but he does seem like a kid that is telling everyone what they want to hear. Still think it’s LSU A&M but the USC OV could sway things.

It's a bit of culture shock from Silsbee to LA. Maybe the heat will die down for them.

1st visit always get recruits excited and followed with a 2nd visit that makes them 2nd guess it. Reminds me of another recruit that committed to LSU later. Not worried about USC currently still have until December.

If there's one position I never worry about at LSU is WR. There are over a dozen each cycle in LA with not only a chance to play big time football but also NFL football, too.

Lot of truth here. No telling where he ends up but the combination of the beaches of the Pacific, ladies of every variety, celebrities everywhere, and a pretty good Offensive coach who’s recruited some great talent at skill positions.

It wouldn’t surprise me if he ends up there, but he does sound like a kid who gets swept up in the moment, which is not a knock on no the kid. I’d imagine it’d be hard not to with how much love is shown to them.

With that said, I hope he ends up in purple and gold!

Fortunately, we can continue on at WR targets & not lose any sleep if he goes out west.

They gave up 500 yards and 5 TDs through the air alone.

Tulane got absolutely torched by Caleb Williams. Thankfully, the KR for USC muffed a kickoff out of bounds on the 1 yard line and we got a safety.
