He just visited Oklahoma and spent time with one of their portal commits in Jermayne Lole. Next up is Texas and they’re in position like LSU for needing DT’s.

If that's the case I like where we stand, if the staff wants to pull the trigger. Colorado's D was worse than our and we had a major upgrade to coaching in the offseason. Also, LSU/SEC is going to give him much more exposure.

CB may be slightly below SEC average too. DL is at the bottom of the SEC right now. Safety below average and LBs (?).
Right now it looks like defense may get gashed just as bad as last season.

In contention for championship on team with upward potential.
Guess the only thing is if he is only looking for $$$ then bidding war makes for an uneven playing field. These guys get lower leg injuries by the bucket full . Lot of them got ankle leg braces on but still they get tripped stepped on and you got to have a bench that can step up. So we need starters and also we have to have reserves who can play when injuries happen. Depth at this position is crucial.

Hell with Penn starting the LBs aren’t looking too hot either. I certainly don’t think the defense will make a jump to say top 30 defensively. But I’m hoping for top 60 just based on players knowing their assignments better. Which would be a big improvement from last season.

I imagine reports will be out soon. But apparently he has a wife and kids so I don’t know if he’s all about the visit pics and stuff. The staff was trying to approach him about lthr draft and such.
