So who you got instead? Nobody?
Exactly.
Exactly.

Dude….we lost a program changing recruit.
You can't possibly know this....you ain't Nostradamus. The OP listed several who either bombed out as highly rated QBs or haven't proved anything yet. There are others left out of that list. I submit Jackson Arnold from Denton, TX a top 10 prospect who has done squat at Oklahoma. I'm NOT saying losing Underwood was a good thing. But for you to CLAIM without ANY college evidence whatsoever that he is a "program changing recruit" is absolutely NUTS! You have no idea if he is or not. If you are saying you do, I'm calling you a liar!

there is no HS kid worth 5M+, and with the transfer portal, there's a strong likelihood he will end up at another school before it's all over with.
Unfortunately this is the climate now if you want to compete with the big boys.

We don't need a Yankee qb

Arch Manning - No. 1 QB in country, was going to revive Texas football and two years later is still a backup
Julian Sayin - No. 1 QB, destined to be the next great Alabama QB, signs with Tide and three weeks later he's a member of the Ohio State football team.
Arch has looked good in backup duty and will start next yr.
Sayin will probably start at Ohio state next yr.
Yall are trying anything and everything to spin this Bryce Underwood news. Just stop.

We can get rid of Sloan or move him back to QB coach.

The emotional water cooler fans down voted you of course but at some point you have to say. Will 15 million get me an entire oline and dline or one unproven qb.

How is Manning, who was rated the No. 1 player in the country coming out of high school, not a bust based on what he's done so far.
For the last two seasons, Manning has been unable to win the starting job and has become nothing more than a 5-star clipboard holder.
Yes, I would definitely call that player a bust!

Arch Manning - still a backup at UT
For every 5* bust you listed why don't you list out the 5* QBs like
Cam Newton
Tim Tebow
Caleb Williams
CJ Stroud
Bryce Young
Drake Maye
Jayden Daniels - 5 some place, 4 in others
Trevor Lawrence
Justin Fields
Tua
And if you want to keep the non-QB talk going what about Jamar Chase, Derek Stingley and Patrick Peterson?
Yeah some work and some don't but it's just such an bitch move to come on here after he leaves us and be like "oh well it's actually a good thing we're not getting good players because sometimes it doesn't work out"

He’s such a star his team is at home watching the ending of the playoffs this week.

Getting another JB or JD from the transfer portal would be a miracle blessing

It’s not his turn yet ya dummy

How many NCs did NS win with good to average QBs.You don`t need a
superstar in college to win.You need game manager type of players.
LSU should be fine going forward.

This seems to be a bit violent of a wish. Having said that, Underwood did a couple of things wrong and classless. And BTW, neither of them is taking the $10+ million. First, he made a big deal on his Twitter account advertising what he was offered ($10.5 million I believe) and acted like he was turning it down. Basically, he LIED! And second, he waited until only several days before NSD to make his flip. I would bet that offer had been discussed weeks before it was made public.
