But it is true that there have been many highly ranked high school recruits who do not develop into first round players.

I’m not saying Underwood fits this mold. But who knows what the future holds.

BK will likely go after Best QB in the portal and maybe catch lightning in a bottle

You’re correct we shouldn’t even bother going after the best players.

I think there’s a better chance that Kelly is gone in a year or two

This season is a dumpster fire

More 5* QBs leave their first school than stay thru their careers.

3 straight horrible losses and now this. These past few weeks have been at an all time low for us fans and I fear the worst is yet to come. Buckle up!

Obviously, the better scenario would be Underwood sticking to his verbal and coming to LSU. But I'm not nearly as upset as most here. Underwood is an unproved COLLEGE commodity...certainly not as a TR FR for example. As usual there will be umpteen QBs in the portal who are good. Howard at OSU, Gabriel who is now at Oregon, etc are examples from the past portal. Get one of that quality. The MAIN thing is Nussmeier needs to inform Kelly very, very soon as to his plans. LSU's hand will be strengthened at attracting a good transfer portal QB if that QB sees there is no established starter...assuming GN leaves for the NFL draft.

Utter nonsense! But then again, you seem like the classic negatiger who if LSU lost in the NC game, you would still whine like an 8 year old. You don't even know the definition of a dumpster fire...this season is NOT it. LSU had the 3rd toughest schedule in the country. BTW, Georgia which was the popular pick preseason has lost 2 games...one SEC game less than LSU. I guess Georgia is a dumpster fire too, huh?

Georgia is about to make the playoff

LSU is probably going 7-5 and should have lost to South Carolina

Get your head out of the sand, Kelly sucks

I agree LSU should have lost to S Carolina but LSU SHOULD have beaten Florida...look at the stats in that game. LSU won everything of note other than the score and number of sacks. LSU also could have easily won the USC-W game. I think I will assess this team and not take your jaded word for it. As far as Georgia supposedly making the playoff...right now they are near the bubble of making it. They have 0 chance of getting a bye and once again, Georgia along with Ohio State were the favorites to win it all. So get your hand out of the sand....you are delusional to call LSU a dumpster fire.

We are not a dumpster fire. If you were around from 1989 thru 1994, you know what a dumpster fire is.

You can see how biased that poster was. The tell is...and it is always obvious...when a poster brings up close games that LSU could or should have lost and not mention the ones LSU could or should have won. The first category would be USC-E as he stated and maybe Ole Miss. But he totally "forgot to mention" USC-W and the Florida game. LSU is right where they should be 6-4 based upon this year's performance in games.

Get out of your emotions and re read what I said

Which is that the season is a dumpster fire. Not LSU

We just lost one of the biggest recruits in LSU history and are tracking to finish 7-5, 8-4 at best, and will finish the season unranked

If you don’t think this has been a dumpster fire of a season then you need to find a new team because by LSU standards, it’s a flaming dumpster fire

As others have stated, this season and/or LSU is NOT a dumpster fire. You are the one using hyperbole and being emotional not me. IF LSU wins out, LSU will not be unranked. You obviously don't understand how rankings work. LSU is just out of the top 25 and winning 3 more games would definitely put LSU in the top 25 playing the 3rd toughest schedule in college football. If it you who needs to find a new team since you come off as 12 year old with ridiculous expectations. LSU preseason was OUT of the playoffs according to the experts. LSU is NOT a dumpster fire...you as a poster are a dumpster fire. Get a life!

Failed Math 101 did you? Georgia has lost 2 SEC games...LSU has lost 3. That is one SEC difference isn't it? Retake Math 101, stay awake this time, and sit in the front of the class.

Laughable, this program has seen much worse lows than this.

I get the math, dipshit. It’s your embarrassing comparison that drew my sneer. Listen, if being only one sec loss worse than UGA (back in the playoff hunt, btw) makes you feel like things are super, then you hang onto that feeling. Who am I to mess with some moron’s delusion?

If you are going to go all in on the top player in the nation then you better be prepared to play the game to the fullest. Once again this year LSU was not fully prepared.
