Miami folks never seemed deterred when he committed to LSU. Now, I see why.

These takes are fricking ridiculous. The number 1 receiver in the country doesn’t need a safety net. Everyone will pay for his services including LSU.

Momma wants her money, too. We blame the kids (and rightfully so), but a lot of the parents are looking to get a big payday off their kids so they can buy a new car or even a new house, then sit on their butt.

I saw where Nico's father is actively involved in trying to squeeze more money out of Tennessee, because $2,4M a year evidently isn't enough for a mediocre quarterback. I'm sure Pops is getting a good share of the $$$.

I can understand why a lot of college coaches would rather coach in the NFL. It has to be demeaning to go groveling to a kid and his family.

I saw where one of the assistant coaches at Alabama sent a video to a running back they're recruiting. In the video, he tells the kid, "miss you, love you, can't wait to see you."

Recruiting is some disgusting stuff.

The ncaa needs to pass a rule when you commit to a team you have have to stick with that team until you sign on the dotted line. If you’re not 100 percent sure you want to sign with that team then don’t commit. So tired of all this bullshite these kids do to these football teams when they commit for months and then pull out. They need to be accountable for this nonsense.

If I was a recruit and came on this board and saw all these crying fans, I would decommit too. Sometimes this board is so hard to read, just a bunch of whining.

He’s committed right now, I’m excited for the prospect of him being a tiger, could be one of the greats. Hopefully he stays committed, if not, oh well, that’s his decision.

Lsu not take any players committed elsewhere. Lol it works both ways. Just keep recruiting and let chips fall where they do

This is the truth! I saw this firsthand when Justin Hunter was a top WR out of Va. Beach and I was assisting LSU. The family def had their hands out, and it's unfortunate for the kids.

Yall have to stop thinking these "commits" mean anything

They sign or they don't

Even then half the kids will transfer anyways

We need contracts and salary caps

While this won't happen, a good alternative would be allowing players to sign when they commit if they want to.

It was cool when these kids were killing themselves for fans entertainment, now they are able to capitalize off their Name, Image and Likeness and it's a problem for snowflake fans like yourself. If you don't like it, go watch NASCAR!!
