Given that we are a Nike school, hard not to view this as not so great news.

Maybe a nothing burger but he WAS just at Miami who is an Adidas school…

Using LSU as leverage to get the highest bid, we’ve seen this before countless times.

I don’t believe in coincidences. Goes to Miami, signs a deal with adidas.

That’s too much smoke.

I think you’re right unfortunately. Tired of these out of state massive diva WR’s.

One reason why in the thread when he "committed" I kinda laughed.

I will believe it when he is on campus at LSU in year 2

I don't understand how these kids want to go play in front of 20,000 fans every weekend.

For a school that hasn’t put out a single elite WR in god knows how long

I don't like the look of this but will hold off. Lsu is really going to try everything to lock him up imo.

The timing is super strange tho. Lsu being a nike school has nothing to do with it tho.

Not really

It’s WR, we’ll always have options at this position.

They averaged just under 60K, which is near capacity of their stadium.

He’s the best receiver in the country…..for a reason.

Still bad

And that was mainly due to them being semi-relevant recently

Nothing yet. Just now getting into the office let me take a look around. Also, realize this is the busy month of visits. Every Monday we're going to hear who the hottest trending team for player x.

If we're being totally honest with ourselves, who thought he would stick all the way through signing day with all the visits he set up to take?

Curious in the NIL era, how does that work for a player to sign with another brand when they wear a competitor brand on Saturdays?

pretty much no one believed it from the moment he signed

I don't think I've ever seen a 5 star commitment thread filled with so many "sure sure" and "lol ok" type posts
