If he completes 57% in the big 12. It would be worse in the sec. He lost his job for a reason.

If Miles does in fact plan to involve the QB more in a spread offense where the QB is a runner, we need more experienced QBs because the risk of injury in the SEC for a QB not named Cam or Tebow is high. Baylor, TCU, A&M all had QB injuries this year.

Lost his job to a Heisman candidate.

On the same note, I remember threads on here last year about Chad Kelly and how we did not want him. Well, he was All-SEC this year and arguably the best QB in the conference.

He's down to LSU and UNC supposedly

So LSU will have another backup QB. Zero % chance he comes in and gets the starting job. Zero % chance Miles would even play him even if he won the job.

AJ just gave a prelude to what his career would be in the NFL. Pick, sack, sack, pick, sack......BACKUP!

He played out of his mind in that Bama game. I remember watching that game and saying, "Damn why can't we get a QB like that."

In those Bama highlights, you get to see a receiving core that was doing some major work. Our receivers aren't there yet. Would love to see Dural come back next year and see our receivers and QBs gel.

On Knight, I say why not.

I think B. Harris will still start, but he will have everyone breathing down his neck, plus some experienced players to learn from in practice.

It's like having an extra coach out there, and some good camaraderie could be what the doctor ordered in terms of our QBs.

Etling and Knight putting pressure on Harris is a good thing and good for this program. I would welcome him with open arms. It only cost us one spot and if he does not work out then oh well.

Allen was the best QB in the conference, Kelly threw way too many picks. Still better than what we had but Harris would probably look better in that system too.

And Mayfield was a nobody before this season, not like anyone knew, even that coaching staff, he'd put up the numbers he had. He BARELY by the slimmest of margins beat out Knight. Knight had abad season last year, especially for an OU QB which is about as QB friendly as an offense gets. Mayfield walked on to OU.
