The boy always seemed unsteady with his choice, but he should have had the guts to tell LSU and others that he was seriously considering going back on his word. In the end, he really screwed LSU, so it won't bother me in the least if he has some awfully tough times in Austin.

Due to his shameful behavior, Torshiro Davis deserves any and all of the backlash he will face for the rest of his life.
As does anyone else who aided and abetted in his embarrassing charade.
If you don't want to go to a school, fine. Do what Denzell Devall did. Express your interest in other schools clearly and commit to your favorite, thereby allowing LSU to recruit other players in your position.
Occupying a seat for the hell of it is the worst thing a recruit can do. He is deliberately fricking over the program he is committed to because other players believe he will be ahead of them on the depth chart.

I don't because of the way he did it. If he wanted to go to Texas, just say so, why commit to LSU a year ago, say last week you canceled in home vist with Texas, then switch on NSD when LSU can't get a replacement? frick him, hope he gets buried on the depth chart

That hurts, but we're still stacked at LB for this class. I don't think we'll be wishing we had him in a couple years. Like someone else said, at least it wasn't to Bama or a contender of ours.
