Happy Birthday fellow Pisces !!!

quote:

Green visited Texas last Saturday before making his way to LSU for what I’m told is a three-day visit, which includes his birthday.

During the part of practice open to the media Tuesday, Green was fixated on first-year LSU offensive line coach James Cregg, who was working with the interior linemen. Cregg was outwardly vocal and intense, which grabbed Green’s attention. I noticed Green smiling because last month he raved about Cregg’s passion and how hard he works.

Tidbits on LSU’s 5-star visitors at spring practice

On Faatui Tuitele:

quote:

Coach Ed Orgeron and Co. followed that up by bringing Tuitele and his family to campus Tuesday. The 2019 All-American watched the front seven players work out from the sideline with his eyes glued on another Hawaii native, Breiden Fehoko, who after sitting out last year as a transfer is practicing as the starting left defensive end.

I’m told Tuitele’s visit went great. After taking in practice, he went through the routine photo shoot and had closed-door meetings with Orgeron and defensive coordinator Dave Aranda. It’s important to note Aranda’s West Coast ties. He’s a native of California and attended Cal Lutheran. He’s been a defensive coordinator at Cal Lutheran and at Hawaii, so his experience recruiting the island cannot be overlooked.

How about an O-line that features both Kardell Thomas and Kenyon Green both on it? Forget about trying to catch up with Bama in the trenches, we would be stomping on their heads.

please make it happen

I thought once he met with Cregg and got to see him in person, we would skyrocket right back into it

The sell here is Kardell...If I'm a LT tackle I want the best damn guard in the country next to me.

Kardell needs to strengthen his relationship with Green and he is ours.

Not only that but Sopher and Tuitele on the same DL possibly with more of the MS DLman as well!

It's all about the LOS boys! Always was and has been. With a OL like this we will easily grab a QB to play behind them. Same with RBs. Then with a DL like that you could easliy convince LBers and DBs to come play behind those big boys as well.

Win win for LSU. It's time LSU starts landing these guys, for the long haul and they can help recruit for LSU as well. They seem to all love LSU but then they leave and idk what happens. Whatever is happening, O needs to find out, and change it with the quickness. GT

Plus, 2 of Thibodeaux, Stripling, Anderson.

If we land most of these guys to go with what we have for 2018, the DL will be as good as ever.

I said the same thing after reading everything I did about Cregg, I honestly believe it's just a matter of time before he recommits

We're in it for sure. Cregg had to get himself at least back to where Grimes had gotten us; he's accomplished that.

Now, just keep working. He's watching very closely. Just make sure we're highlighting every positive.

Big Ditka or Mini Ditka? Daaaa Bears... (classic SNL skit for you young ones)

But seriously, we talking Ditka with the Bears or Saints? Two completely different animals.

Great update from Sam. Good interview with Green's father about the visit.
