Tigers in Transfer Portal and Potential Return

Given Sage’s portal journey a year ago, are there any current players in the portal who may decide to return??

I would like to think half of them will stay, and are looking for more $ elsewhere

This is getting ridiculous. It seems, until things are changed and rules are made, every player becomes a free agent after each season. They all have agents. The agents want them maximizing their earnings. Why not jump in the portal? Its the way the system is set up. And I've always been a proponent of change being a good thing. But this new NIL era has been effed up from the get go.

If Pimpton is smart he would return, he would definitely get starters minutes or even start

100%
Tight end is one position that Kelly coached teams seem to develop well. He did at ND and he has with Mason so far in his 3 years here.

He doesn't want to block; he prefers the Hybrid TE role.

I imagine they'd run him at TE and Green at more WR. Green in the slot is terrifying to a defense.

Playing time is secondary to NIL money. That is the situation with Pimpton.

To me Womack would be a fool to leave, but maybe Bo doesn’t like something about his game

What the hell does a college player need with an agent. That used to mean instant disqualification and forfeiture of games. Now anything goes I guess.

From what we’ve heard about Womack, it might not have been his decision to leave

if that is the case why would the coaches tell him leave with the depth we need at defensive end and his talent. what the crap man! ugh! agervating!

Exactly, and Green plays that better to be honest. If Pimpton wanted to gain weight and become a better blocking TE. That's the only way I see much playing time.

Why do you guys think Saban retired? He got tired of having to “re-recruit” his entire roster every season and didn’t want to deal with guys who thought they were entitled to playing time because of what they were being paid.
This new version of college football is not enjoyable to follow, if I’m being honest.

High profile high school players have agents these days. It’s about to become the norm.
