Thanks supa. I'll keep an eye out for him.

Does STM ever throw the ball? I watched a good portion of his film. Tough to find him in some of the clips, but overall he looks like a big kid (especially for a junior) that has the intensity to be a great blocking TE at the next level. I just never saw a clip of him catching a pass, which leaves some doubt.

His pad level is something he definitely needs to work on--he is manhandling the opposition now, but won't at the next level. He shows good leg drive in some clips and others he kind of gets 'stood up' by a smaller opponent due to playing high. All of that can be corrected with coaching, however.

He is a work in progress as a receiving TE

He has the frame to be a 6'5 250lb TE or he could really fill out and be a OT

STM had zero passing game this year so he didn't get many opportunities to catch the ball. The consensus around STM is he will go to camps this summer, run well and he if he catches the ball and shows route running ability he will be a High D-1 TE. If he stumbles around in routes and drops the ball he will be a state school OL prospect.

His Dad was a small school All American at USL in the mid 70s. He has three older brothers. One that played 1B for UL and was drafted by the Mets. One that played four years of D-1 football for Army. And one that is a Center at UL.

Lynx,

The thing I like most about Collins is his ability to block and run upfield. I wonder how much bigger he is going to get.

Looks like we are set for O-line, D-line and RB prospects for next year which is great because we've had to go out of state this year for much of that. Those guys go a long way toward making this next class one of our best ever! I hope the staff can get these guys to commit early and get a few surprises down the road, a la Texas this year. That would be awesome! Incredible job by the staff so far!!

T.K. Fleming of Benton is the real deal. He is ranked number 1 in the state in the long jump and triple I believe. In the long jump he is ranked #4 in the nation. He is 6'2 200 pounds and plays safety. Already has an offer from UCLA too. Hell of an athlete. National Rankings Track

So everyone LSU offers is a heavy lsu lean or and lsu lean. I guess you should only make 25 offers because they are all leans right?

Yes, I have/will follow his recruitment closely. Saban went to visit him at CHS last week as well.
