This is such a strange recruiting class.

It feels so unbelievably mid. Like it's not bad at all, it's balanced. Meets pretty much all of our needs. Maybe need another DT but that's kind-of it.

Outside of Green, no-one in this singing class looks like a superstar. It's probably the most boring signing class I have ever seen LSU get, assuming it stays the same. If we can pull Bussey, or McKinley it would feel alot more exciting. But for now it feels meh. I dont have any excitement that one of these kids are gonna push for a starting job.

I hope you’re under 20 using words like “mid”

Think of Coach O’s last two classes that got everyone hyped and fist bumping. How’d those work out? This class besides DT is absolutely underrated.

That's because you've taken the melters narrative to heart.

Green is elite, Durham is a stud back on a loaded team. Weston Davis is a stud. Callaway has a ton of potential. Atkins has been a terror this year in texas. McBryde has all the tools. Reliford is as big time as they come with regards to in state d linemen. And that's just off the top of my head.

Eta: you're not exited about Reliford but Mckinley moves the needle for you?

That's true for sure.

Still, none of these guys look like high school super stars, with immediate college impact potential.

There's no stingley, perkins, fornette, Campbell, Gilbert, Smith, Boutte, Chase, Marshall, Stevans, Delpit.

Those guys you watch their high-school film and are like, there's no way these guys aren't mid season starters or hitting the 2 deeps.

I just don't see any guys with film like that in this class. Green is the only one, but we are already so good at tight end in 2024, I just don't see him making any immediate impact.

Grant Delpit - #41 nationally
Dashawn McBryde - #47 nationally

Will Campbell - #66 nationally
Weston Davis - #20 nationally

Arik Gilbert - #10 nationally
Treydez Green - #36 nationally and will move up with next update

Seems like LSU has a good bit of star power in this class and your list was drawing from multiple classes.

Not really, I think this class is perfectly fine. I'm not mad about it. It's just kind of boring as a person that loves college recruiting. These kids all look SEC caliber, but I just don't see any All Americans besides Green. Usually our classes have 3-5 guys that you look at the film and meserables and can't imagine them not being all Americans or day 1-2 draft picks.

Just don't see that with this class. Nesrly everyone of these guys are eval guys with good to great upside, but for one reason or another have a pretty big flaw to their game.

I felt like last class was extremely boring too, but we do have some potential studs from that class.

That sword cuts both ways. Sometimes we get “can’t miss” prospects that don’t amount to anything. Remember when we HAD to get Quincy Wiggins? How about when Denver Harris was gonna be lockdown for us?

Yea, I pulled some guys off the top of my head from the last decade.

Mcbride is all over the place, but he is one of the guys i love in this class, ranging from #49-#217. Delpit ranged from 41-70.

Weston Davis is a low to mid 4 star to everyone except on3.

Green is a consensus top 40 4 star, I'll give you that. But I also said he was a really good player. And probably the only one that I would bet money on being a day 1 pick. But comparing Gilbert at #10 overall to Green is laughable. Arik Gilbert coming out of high-school was the best tight end prospect potentially ever. If he had half a brain cell he would've been the #1 overall pick in the 2022 draft. The kid was an absolute phenom. Too bad he had demons in his head...

Quincy Wiggens was always going to be the 2-3 year development piece. He was incredibly raw, but pure physical potential. I believe he only played 2-3 years of football his entire life. He was hyped up based on genetics alone. He also has plenty of time to develope into a NFL caliber guy. He has the physical tools, I don't know if he has the mental tools.

We have absolutely no clue if this class is underrated or overrated.

Time will tell.

I find it hard to believe that you sat and watched Durhams highlights and thought “yea this guy won’t do much at LSU” lol

The dude has elite speed and has game changing capabilities. Talk about tough to please

Year 3 is supposed to be the year.. O/U for a CFP spot in 2024..?

Can’t rely strictly on La recruiting.

Like said time will tell how this class performs during USC and beyond. We haven’t won an opener in 2 years.
