It looks like NOLA.com let Gilmore interview some guys and I didn't know it but he is quite the character. After this he is definitely one of my favorite recruits.

Yeah it's not really Noel's fault and people were mostly mad because his dad was talking shite about Tre'Davious White. I bet Noel would have committed if he had an offer

im sorry, i know the coaches are great at recruiting, but man i really think we will regret not giving an offer to ellis. He is hands down one of the top corners in the country, and he has that "swag" that is takes to play corner... Pat P had it, tyrann mathieu had it, primetime had it... and he is showing it this week at these practices. might not be the fastest kid, but that could also be bad 40 technique, maybe hasnt been worked with with that. but i have watched him play, and he deserves an offer as much as anyone we have committed. kid is a baller. and thats what matters

I did too. Really awkward question for him and thought he handled it well...a lot better than his dad would have. If for whatever reason we get a spot open, I wouldn't mind seeing him get an offer. Stranger things have happened.
