I've made a few of these threads in the past but it's been a while and after reading another article on Todd Harris where LSU and Bama are his finalists it just makes me want to throw these kids out of LA. No disrespect intended, we want all LA kids but if your that torn between us and our biggest rival then get lost. Hit the road man. You honestly have no idea what being a Tiger and playing for LSU is all about.

These kids don't owe Louisiana anything but I don't like them going over there either but it's their decision

That's a double edged sword. What if LSU didn't get the stud OOS players?

If they didn't want to go to LSU, because they wanted to get out of the South and wanted a change of scenery, by all means, go to USC or Michigan. If they want to get a better education, by all means, go to Notre Dame or Stanford.

However, LA kids that are torn between LSU and Alabama kill me. How were they not brought up to despise Bama. Is Tuscaloosa that much better than BR? Is the degree from Bama going to get them a job that the degree from LSU wouldn't get them??

I went to an out of state school for undergrad. It wasnt me turning my back on LSU, it was a chance to do something different and broaden my horizons at a time when you're afforded that luxury.

Now that said, if I was playing D1 ball, I'd look at all my options. It appears now that LSU has more PT (playing time) to offer in key positions. Seems like a no brainer, but yeah, can't fault kids for the allure of a perennial champion: Saban, not bama. Bama is full of retards.

Most kids want to win a national title well Bama is the hot prom queen that everyone wants a turn at. To be honest I would go to the place I could be coached up for the NFL. Now LSU puts guys into the NFL but most of those guys needed to be coached up in the NFL not in college (D. Hunter) comments come to mind in his interview with one of the team. Bama does the same but they get you ready for the NFL. If I was a Linebacker today I would chose LSU because Bama. Has like 10 of those guys on scholarship, LSU does not. As running back I would go to bama because they have several hiseman trophy winners and they have the same running back coach with the trophy winners.

You know the answer to this. It's the recent national titles. LSU has to start beating Alabama on the field. Only then will things start to change.

I agree.. Debo, honeybadger, PP, OBJ, Jarvis, Minter, S. Ware, Jeremy Hill, Jalen Collins, etc all had a really hard time getting ready for the NFL

I completely agree. Even to a point where if they are heading to Ohio State, Michigan, ND, OU, and even Florida State I'm ok with that. But don't say you grew up an LSU fan and it's down to us and Bama. Get lost is 100% correct. But here's the thing I've learned over the years. In this scenario, it's about a 95% chance they are all Bama and just softening the blow. So I don't pay any attention to the "it's between LSU and Bama" crew. And when it actually plays in our favor (LF) it feels awesome.

They make me sick too. If those kids would just stay home and play for LSU, they COULD win championships here. I guess they are so enamored with Dick Saban "the God" and his golden tongue. I got fooled once more with all the hype about Chris Allen "wavering," but it turns out it was just a bunch of b.s. I can't say I wish the kid luck over there. Personally, I hope somehow he gets beat out and rides the pine. And now it looks like we won't even get Phillips. I've got to remind myself next year not to get my hopes up and just stay off the message boards until recruiting is done. It's such a fricking waste of time.

Okay...got that out of my system. My rant's done.

Same here. This is just what they want to see on these message boards and you gave them great pleasure. Good job...

Some people would rather be followers than leaders, sheep than wolves, jump on the bandwagon than building your own legacy.
