Not signing a RB in the 2013 signing class facilitates Miles's recruitment of LF, and also allows us to meet needs across the board in this class.

But, who thinks it will make any difference at all to LF?

Bama drafted tons of great backs in this class, so maybe that adds together with the seeming intentional effort by Miles to line up LF for next year?

If LF pulls LC or RN on us and signs with Bama/Ole Miss, that would be put the rant into epic server-over-load mode for sure.

Who thinks we get him and that the setup will get him on board for the unveiling of the new South Upper Deck in Sept 2014?

With AB, JH and KH in the 2013 backfield, as long as they stay healthy, it is not that big of a gamble, right?

Its not like we had some beast we closed the doors on who would actually have seen the field.

LSU will find another back plus they have Hill for another two more years. We'll be fine.

It's a risk, but for LF it is worth it. The risk is mitigated with the other really good backs we have in the state. We'll probably take 3 RBs next year including LF. The other backs will keep LF fresh, prolong his career and help him to the next level.

ETA: What's the over/under on how many Fournette threads will be started by posters with inferiority complexes/little-brother mentality toward Bama? I'd put it conservatively at 200. . . It's already getting old, and there's still a full calendar year to go!

The draft order had LSU like, eighth or ninth, in the SEC? But you're right, Miles should have tried to steal someone in the later rounds. I blame it on that GM, Alleva.

I think we have to trade up to make sure we get him. Who's expendable?

Pretty ignorant, RN didnt pull a RN on anyone

We should've gotten a back, but backs are going to be awful easy to recruit next year even if LF decides to go elsewhere
