At least Miles consistently had top-10 classes. I thought the one big plus the Coach O apologists always said was that he is a recruiting "guru" and would be better at it than Miles? So far, Orgeron is showing that he's worse.

Not really.

It seems the administration is as apathetic as many of the fans. NEVER, after being a huge fan for over 40 years, would I have believed I'd feel this indifferent to the state of LSU football. Every year expectations are lowered and we still can't meet them.

LSU admin wake the frick up!

Losing out on Surtain is not going to be the end all that it's being made out to be. It's the 2019 class that is going to be the big one.

Every class is important. You can’t frick away 2018 and say hey but 2019 is where it’s really at.

Why won’t Alabama come poach all the studs in 2019?

We better lock down the entire state in 2019, b/c Coach O's OOS recruiting leaves a lot to be desired. This year is probably the worst OOS recruiting I've seen since I've followed recruiting (which was 2001). There are also no legit QB's in Louisiana for 2019.

He pumps sunshine constantly. Thinks O was a better hire than Jumbo. E a better hire than K Briles.

You can't fix stupid.

Miles was getting beat in recruiting especially at defensive line you can pad all the 5-star skill players you want if you don't have them on the line you're not going to have a winning program

Because you and y'all are basing everything off of one year and one recruiting class so far(last year's recruiting class was Miles's). Why don't we wait and see how this coming year plays out first? Look, if Coach O shits the bed this year and then shite the bed for the 19' class then I will be the first in line to want to see him go!

I understand what you are saying, but Ogeron doesn't get the benefit of the doubt. He doesn't call plays or scheme on either side of the ball. Once kickoff occurs his in-game role is reduced to wandering around aimlessly on the sideline with the microphone on his headset up. As the "CEO" of the coaching staff he hired an OC for $4.5 million, then essentially wanted him out 4 games into the season and in the process caused LSU to suffer one of its worst loses in a decade. He then fires the the OC, paying him $3.2 mill to coach for one season and hires a guy on staff who really didn't want the job. LSU had to bid against itself to overpay Ensminger in order to convince him to take the OC job.

When Ogeron was named the permanent HC his ONLY tangible attribute was his recruiting prowess. Yet, his first full recruiting class is poised to be one of the worst in the last 15+ years, possibly THE WORST once it all shakes out.

He was hired to replace arguably the most successful HC in LSU history and give LSU the boost to become a championship level program again. Instead, just about every move he has made thus far points the needle in the other direction. He didn't inherit a program that had bottomed out. But most objective indications are that he is, himself, in the process of doing just that.
